Brand new remodel, looks great… seems to be busiest place around. Food is great very quick service. Best italian subs around. Highly recommended!

I’ve been grabbing lunch here for years as I work in the neighborhood. Not much to look at on the inside… typical local pizza/sub shop décor… older and run down a bit, but also a place you feel very welcome to sit and eat your lunch with the crowd. Pizza is okay, but the subs are great. Can’t go wrong with either the chicken parm or pastrami. Good selection of both hot and cold subs, and they also have some meal plates as well. They do get crowded during lunch, so you may have to wait a few… but overall it’s worth it. The owner and staff have always been very friendly and welcoming to me. Delicious Sicilian style pan pizza. This place is packed during lunch time, so be prepared to wait in line. You can either call in and order pizza or walk in and get a slice of pizza they have out front already prepared. They do offer both regular and Sicilian style, but I have only had the Sicilian, and again its awesome. I have been told by family members that their subs are also good. I am a Coca Cola brand lover, and they only sell Pepsi, wooof! This place is popular with the po-po, five-o, fuzz… you get the point, so if you are planning to rob the place because afterall it is a cash only establishment, BEWARE! p. s. totally kidding, Enjoy!

This place sucks The customer service is absimal, and the employees must be inbred based off their incompetence and rude demeanor. They have never managed to make a sub right and then when you call to complain they are so rude and could obviously care less Never going here again

Stella pizza was my childhood spot & loved it but as an adult it’s a different story. Last time I was there the owner Jay fix me 2 subs with his bare hands & a bandaid on his finger. Yack! What’s worse he was passing my subs to another bare handed worker to be toasted. Standard practice I suppose! I paid it & trashed them first chance. Word of advice, get a Hepatitis shot before you eat there.

It wouldn’t let me write a review without giving this place at least 1 star but it doesn’t even deserve that. I had my kid’s birthday party so I ordered a sheet of pizza to be delivered. I called them at 12:20PM and was told about 40 minutes which was fine because I wasn’t expecting anyone until 1:30 ish Well 1:20 rolls around still no pizza so I call and the girl ensured me he was on his way… Well I live 10 minutes from this place and 1:40 comes and goes still no pizza so I call back and was told he was the only driver on and had multiple deliveries to drop off but would call him and call me back. Well I never heard back so I ordered pizza from the Cape Cod Café(which is much better pizza) they were ready for pick up as promised by the person I spoke to at the Cod. The driver calls me around 3:00 asking if I still want the pizza … Really??? Why waste your time or my time with the useless phone call? Point is if you tell someone you’re going to have their food to them in 40 minutes then make it work and if for some reason you can’t make it within the time a courtesy call would be nice even better just tell the caller the truth when they call back wondering where their food is. Needless to say I will NEVER order from there again and if you’re smart you won’t either. Go to the Cape Cod Café on Main st much better food and service they don’t deliver because they don’t have to…

excellent chicken parm sub, all white breast meat(it better be, bub), gooey cheeze, toasted roll. Sauce is exact duplicate of ChefBoyardee and works well with the chicken. Only hitch was the loooong wait, it was a good 15min for my one sub. They were busy but don’t appear too organized. Prices and portions are decent and they do a good business. A solid choice for an everyday lunch but in Shoe City, I prefer Italian Kitchen for this kind o chow. Dining area is typical 1977 House of Pizza with nothing but Fox news so stay out you freaky moonbats!

As I sit here nursing my post pizza food comma, I realized«HEY I should write a review of Stella’s». I agree with the previous reviews, the food is neither good, nor bad, mostly in the«baby bear» category. They have greasy pizza and their subs are pretty good. Nothing really to make you crave their delicious goodness, but certainly everything is edible and wont make you feel regret it later in the day(other than I really want to nap right now). I think the biggest advantage of this place is if you are buying grub for a large group. For one lunch time meeting that I get food from her for, we get two party size pizzas, a whole tray of Italian subs, a tray of wings, and two 2-liter bottles of soda for about $ 85 dollars with a coupon. So there is defiantly a bang for your buck at this place.

I’ve only had their pizza so I can’t speak to the rest of the menu. The pizza is merely average, but certainly serviceable – thick crust and bubbly cheese, but pedestrian sauce and a bit greasy overall. The ambiance is typical downtown Brocktown: Behind the counter you’ll find a guy wearing a backwards baseball cap and a semi-permanent scowl, while the dining area is clean but not quite inviting – I’d suggest takeout. You don’t want to be around here after dark, so better make it a lunch date.
