I’ve ordered takeout here before as well as having eaten at the bar. The food is pretty good! I’ve had the chicken parm sandwich, chicken salad sandwich and the pasta salad. Today I tried the grilled chicken American specialty. The chicken was so tender and grilled to perfection. I used honey mustard dipping sauce. Got the Pasta salad as a side because it’s just so good here. Reasonably priced and fast!

Joe, Sheila, Amy, MC, Nicole, Joe Jr and the staff do things right. The food is hot, tastes good and available late-night on weekends. Well drinks, top shelf and premium brands along with a large selection of draught and bottled beers all reasonably priced. With every possible sporting event broadcast throughout; dart leagues, pool tables, Internet jukeboxes, DJs, live music, video games and the Lottery — the atmosphere is never dull. Open late on weekends. Available for large functions.

I lived in Brockton for a few years and never came to this place before. Came here on a Saturday night with a friend now that I’ve moved out of the area and I realize now why I was never drawn to this place. Pretty ghetto in style and could use some updating. I was frisked at the door, not a fan of that, but I understand why. It’s two rooms one open to the public another four reserved parties which is where I was going. The DJ was pretty good but the caliber of people in there was kind of scary. Mixed drinks kind of weak so I would suggest you stick to wine and beer.

A pretty sweet local bar that offers beer, basic mixed drinks, and wine(not quite sure about the wine actually.) They have a ton of TVs, an old school ciggi vending machine, darts, and a jukebox. This is a defin a locals place but even if u walk in and stick out like a sore thumb with a stupid suit on, the bartender will still be super friendly and let u hang as if u’re one of them. The food was ok — if you check in on Unilocal, you get a free appetizer when you order 2 entrees.

I’ve had several items off their lunch menu, and the food is hit or miss. The toasted Italian cold-cut sub is probably the best thing I’ve tried. Generous portions of Italian meat and cheese piled into a hoagie roll with fresh veggies and toasted to perfection. The burgers are terrible… skip those. Sandwiches come with choice of either fries, pasta salad, or chips. The fries are awful, but the pasta salad delicious. Staff is friendly, but has very much«dive bar» feel to the place.

The pizza is horrible! There were only 4 people in the place that ordered food and it took over ½ hour for our food to arrive! And when it did, it was way overcooked! They were very very stingy with the toppings. Also. the menu says that they deliver, but they don’t.

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. I wasn’t expecting much from bar food. but it was actually pretty ok. We all got different sandwiches, tasty and the prices were great. The décor was a bit claustrophobic with sports memorabilia EVERYWHERE. Every inch of the walls were covered. This is the best place to go if you want to watch a game. There’s a Screen as big as the wall where they project some type of sports playing. The service was good, even though the bartender was serving for everyone. It was a kind of busy afternoon but he kept up and we didn’t feel neglected at all. Great bar with great prices. I’d return, when a game is not playing. I’m sure this place would get packed.

The place is a good sporty bar — decent pub fare and beers are reasonable. You have to catch Petty Cash play there on Sundays(usually once a month) — great band that will get you rockin. Pool tables and an outside deck for summer days. Easy going afternoon early evening atmosphere. Like I said Sundays early evening with Petty Cash is worth a visit.

We went to Joe Angelo’s on St. Patrick’s Day. The staff is very friendly and the food was great.

I’m a regular Friday lunch patron, I work in the neighborhood. I recommend Joe’s for the friendly service and the cold beer. If you’re looking for gourmet food, this isn’t the place. It’s decent lunch/pub grub if you know what to order. No matter what, Jenny the bartender will take care of you. Tell her one of her«Friday guys» sent you!

I’ve driven by Joe Angelo’s hundreds of times, and heard tons of great things about it from locals, but I never went in, until today. It is right smack in the middle of Brockton. The bar is your average size bar, with a nice deck outside for the 3rd class citizens, I mean smokers. Everything that is great about Brockton(yes there are some great things about Brockton) is painted on the walls of Joe Angelo’s. They have some great murals of Rocky Marciano, Marvin Hagler, and other local greats. Along one wall is a mural of downtown Brockton from the 40s or 50s. The food is decent pub food, the beers are cold. They have some good local entertainment on the weekends, and during the day you get a good collection of locals having a beer and playing some Keno.
