Terrible service. Some of the waiters here have a piss poor attitude, and seem sort of racist. Rather go to fenway.

Buff tenders are great but a little skimpy on the portion size. Broiled haddock is excellent! ! When it comes to steak tips the portion size is decent but they cannot get rare right to save their lives. Whats so hard about throwing tips on the grill wait 1 minute flip em and wait one more minute? That and well done are the easiest to do.

Just had lunch there. Chicken quesadillas were burnt and the chicken was odd tasting. Cuban special sandwich was ok but the fries were old. Irish red beer was fantastic. Should have opted for liquid lunch. We won’t rush back.

Today was my first time to the restaurant. The food was awesome, absolutely exceeded my expectations. First we had the mussels in bianco sauce. They were so good my daughter was licking her fingers and we couldn’t stop until the last one was done. For dinner she had the kids pasta and I had the Shepard’s pie. Again the food was fabulous and tasty. The reason for the three stars is due to the service. A young guy was serving our table. He delivered our mussels to us and never returned. We had asked if it were possible to add a meatball to the kids spagetti when we ordered it and he had said«sure no problem». Apparently they don’t have meatballs(he thought they had them as appetizers?. I needed a knife to cut her pasta and had to steal from another table. We had to search a different server down ask for cheese for the pasta. I needed more water and needed to find the hostess. We sat with empty stacked plates for sometime before I flagged the hostess to order dessert for my daughter. I did express to her how disappointed we were in the lack of service we were getting from the waiter. He had passed our table so many times with his head down and never once asked us how the food was or if we needed something. She tried to make up for his shortcomings and was sweet and helpful. We also saw that the other server gave his table bread(we never got any). So once my daughter was eating her ice cream sandwich the server finally came back(after about one hour of us being there) and asked, «So how ya doing». I replied fine and requested the check. I will return because the food was awesome. I am not sure if the poor service is just bad luck but I never saw a manager at any point and other tables were having issues with the server as well. So I would give it another shot and hope that we get a trained server. Service is a big reason for going out to dinner and this was not acceptable in my opinion.

This is my family’s favorite restaurant! We have tried many lunch and dinner options and they all have been delicious and wonderful. Our favorite appetizer is the sampler. The spinach and artichoke dip is simply heavenly and my husband and son would go to the restaurant just for that dip. I have had the bangers and mash which was also quite yummy. But my favorite is the prime rib and it was cooked exactly to my liking the FIRST time! We will miss this when we move down south

I went here last night for dinner with my friends. The place was empty, maybe 4 tables in total. Our waiter did not come by as much as we wanted him to. Also, they did not have any clean silverware for us until 30 minutes after we sat down. We ordered the nachos for an appetizer. they were absolutely delicious. I would totally eat them again. They are enough to share with multiple people. For dinner, we all got the turkey pot pie. It was huge, and looked better than it tasted. It was filled with onions, so that kind of turned me off. The bill wasn’t too pricey with drinks and food. I will try this place again in the future, I just hope the service will be better. I look forward to trying the pizza.

FRUITFLIES! Every time I’ve been there, and I’ve been there over 20 times, I must be a glutton for punishment. The food is good. But, who wants to see flies come land on their glass or food? I mean really?

Came out on a monday night service was horrible the female bartender didnt say anything when she approached us and rolled her eyes when we asked if we could order food. Continued to gossip with the people beside us about the other bartender. Our food arrived we said thank you she walked away as if we were a bother. Never once were we asked how anything was or if we needed anything. Terrible service!

Really good chicken wings, passable pizza, terrible service. One waiter in particular is a little on the taller side, older gentleman, with glasses, don’t know his name is to be avoided. Go there on Mondays for cheap wings and pizza.

First time there. Both sodas were flat so the waitress gave us new ones ten minutes later when she came back to our table. The chili was mostly large chunks of uncut tomatoes. The wings were tough and dried up, frozen perhaps?. The onion ring batter almost made us gag it was absolutely horrible tasting. The pizza ordered was a soggy mess full of large thick chunks of uncooked onions and peppers. Not one slice was cut all the way through. Lost an abundance of cheese onto the table trying to pick one slice up. Ate couple bites of our food and packed it up. Waitress was nice but didn’t notice or care that we ate hardly anything. Our kids won’t even eat anything we brought home and they eat everything!

My sister and I were at daddy’s dairy and noticed this Irish restaurant and we decided to try it the next day. AMAZING. We got buffalo chicken quesadillas for the appetizer, turkey pot pie and shepard’s pie for dinner, the chocolate lava cake and this banana cheesecake zango thing for dessert(we have big appetites). AMAZING! ALLIFIT! We went back the next day and got buffalo chicken wraps for lunch. Soo good!

MacGuire’s in Easton was completely packed today, St. Patrick’s Day, but on our way back home, stumbled into Owen O’Leary’s. I googled really quickly, seemed OK — but was not. Very much below average. Ordered corned beef and boiled dinner — not the greatest. For nearly $ 14, I got five dried-up thin slices of corned beef, one red potato, few slices of boiled turnip and carrots, and a boiled cabbage. With a super thin slice of soda bread. The salmon was better. The«leprechaun pie» — was a large slice of mint chocolate ice cream pie with ice chips on top because of over-freezing. There definitely was a reason why this place was far from crowded on St. Patrick’s Day. Just not worth it.

Im not sure what to start with. The buffalo chicken tenders and the buffalo chicken salad are amazing! The bartenders know everyone and always remember what i drink and practically have it ready for me when I’m walking through the doors. Last time i was there a friend told me to try the mashed potato pizza. Hands down the best thing I’ve ever had. The drinks are always great tasting and strong. The bartenders are some of the nicest I’ve ever met and always are super friendly. I go there probably once a week during the summer when i don’t have school just to hang out with friends and for cheap drinks and a good time. The only problem for me is when Stonehill is in session. the kids bring a lot of unnecessary trouble and noise to that spot because its close by.

This was recommended to me by Stonehill students so I didn’t have high expectations. However, it was delish and I was happy. I got my regular nachos and Owen’s definitely provided a classic and delicious option. We loved all of their beers even if they weren’t that interesting. I also found there to be a very low level of college students for 9pm(probably too early) on a Saturday night.

There is just something special about this bar. Owens is a dive — that’s no secret. The food is far from good, but is edible in a pinch. The pizza is standard fare and the apps are safe. The blue cheese is homemade and I argue that you can’t even classify it as blue cheese, but I have grown to love it. The bartenders are part of what makes this place. They are some of the best around and after a few visits, they’ll know you and what you drink. It’s dark, dingy and outdated — but there’s a charm to it that makes it rise above your usual dive filled with q-tips and bud drinking blue collars playing keno. It’s hard to describe, but I’ve been to countless bars and none give me the feeling that Owens does. The cast of characters in there feel like old friends even though we’re all strangers. Do yourself a favor and stop in sometime…

Buffalo wings are good, Monday night’s its $.50 for each bone-in wing, but they only offer either 5 or 10 wings so I don’t get the point of making them $.50/each anyway. I didn’t really like the male bartender, he was a bit snappy and I don’t see what all the stress was for. It was my first time, and first impressions are everything. I’s rather sit at a table than the bar with this guy working. They also add an automatic 20% gratuity which I don’t like so I wouldnt have tipped the guy at the bar on account of his poor customer service

Oh, COLLEGE. I miss Stonehill, and Owen’s. I’ve come from very near(and as of late, very far) for something that I consider the one of the best reuben’s i’ve ever eaten. Come here and play mildly entertaining games in which you will likely lose money, hang with the Brockton locals, and get fat on beer and very toasty, very reubeny reubens. Come over and over again, come on the weekend, come after class, before class, or for a bachelor or birthday party. I can’t say much regarding the other menu items — because as long as i’ve been coming here, its been reubens and reubens only. Rest assured, other food does exist in some form. Service is whatever, as long as they bring me my reubens and keep the beer flowing. Hang with a biker, come with friends, eat a reuben. I don’t care how you get there, who you go with, or what time it is. Eat a reuben.

Ate there last night(see attached pic of their Greek pizza). We were very satifised with our meals and the service was excellent. The Greek pizza was the best I’ve ever had– it had the perfect amount of mozzarella cheese(I hate when there’s too much) and I loved the abundance of veggies on it. Most of all I loved the egglant– it’s a nice touch. My fiancé got the«no name» panini and also was happy with his choice. Despite being in the bar area, our waitress was very friendly and attentive– checking in with us regularly. We had house brews– Irish Red, and IPA. Both were very good. We’ll be back for sure!
