Shiver Shack

Yet another shaved ice stand. Initially came because there were people holding signs by the side of the road offering free shaved ice. I soon realized it was to lure people in, since they were new and to give them an opportunity to practice (which I thought was a good idea).
Prices were comparable to other shaved ice stands. I didn’t really like the ice at this place. I like my shaved ice to be finer and smoother than the ice here. This place had a «Kid’s Menu,» though, with flavor combos named after cartoon characters. I got the Elsa Blue. Enough said.

It’s obvious they’re new and need practice. Twice we had to correct them on our orders and the inside of the shack seemed to be slightly chaotic. The people, though, were nice. Hopefully things will get smoother for them!
