Bartow Pizza

Very tasty meat lover’s slice!!! It was deep buttery crust with a savory sauce with chunks of tomato. The bacon (crispy thick sliced), pepperoni (thin sliced seasoned and crispy), and sausage was memorable and delicious!!! I’m talking melt in your mouth… love at first sight. However, the reason why I gave it three stars was the reaction after eaten. I literally ran to the bathroom. I had exactly 9 minutes to find a restroom.

Juicy gyros

Came in at about 6 pm. The rows of booths on the right side, directly across from the cooking counter, were a bit tight for anyone who isn’t skinny. I Ordered Buffalo wings and a 14″ pizza with sausage and meatball. I must have ordered something out of the usual, because the cook asked me to repeat the pizza order three times. My order was ready in 20 minutes. The wings, while meaty and not over-​cooked, had a bare amount of generic hot sauce. The accompanying blue cheese was barely distinct. On to the pizza, which was tasty and satisfying, with just enough oil on the bottom of the crust to leave a nice sheen on your fingers.
One thing that made me smile was a father who asked that they cut the pizza slices smaller for a his young son… and they were more than happy to help out.
Would I go back? It didn’t make enough of an impression for me for pizza or wings… but they did have a gyro slowly spinning away, so I might go back and try one.

It’s a shame because I used to consider this the best pizza in the Bronx when I was little and feel the quality has gone downhill. The Pizza tastes much better in store. When I order via delivery, it’s rather bland. On the positiive side, their heros and gyros are still as good as I remember them as a kid.

haaha Bartow Pizza, well I have not been in this area for a bit now. I never had a problem with the pizza. On most days, the slices were pretty official. I mean it is in CO-​OP City the area is not that good. If you are in and around, I would say check it out for a quick slice

It’s pizza. What more do you want?
It’s better to get delivery from them, as the atmosphere is absolutely horrible. They barely even have a menu up…
I do feel, however, that the unjustly raised their prices.
