Whenever there’s an amazing deal on a specific item, they never have it in stock(they literally take it off of display). There is never a cashier available when you need to checkout but there are plenty of people in the tv section to hound you. I came to purchase a washer and dryer here and of course they didn’t have the set they advertised, they had older models for slightly more. I ended up just buying them anyway because I told my wife I would purchase it during the holiday sales — they’re horrible at the time it takes to place the order, filling out paperwork for delivery takes as long as a job application(maybe longer), and they don’t know what comes with the equipment. They told me that the washer/dryer didn’t come with the hoses and I had to purchase them separately, so I ordered stainless steel braided hoses but when my order was delivered, it came with hoses. Not sure if they’re unknowledgeable or just trying to make more in commission. Making returns is a nightmare — lines move slow to the point where you consider just leaving and selling your return on Craigslist.

Every Time I come here I research what I want because this best buy store is in a mall where you have to pay for parking now I did it and it said they have the product I want but no sales rep can find it. This is why I will do my shopping online through Amazon from now on.

I had to wait 1 hour for customer service. I asked 3 people for help and they never showed up…

this location gets 3 stars because it has more in stock than its cousin on fordham road. I took 2 stars off because there seemed to be a bathroom lady with a really nasty attitude. Oh well. I got my laptop.

It’s not that I love this particular Best Buy. I’ve been here a few times looking for specific items that happen to be out of stock, which I find bothersome. Things like an Apple 30 pin to lightning charger or a specific portable charger etc. The four star rating is for the people who work at this Best Buy. Every single time I’ve been here I have been approached by the most knowledgeable and courteous sales reps. And that is much appreciated.

The stars given are for convenience and having items in stock. The lack of items is for lack of service although there are plenty of associates, and the lack of professionalism really. Customer service goes a long way…

This location is never crowded and always has what I want to pick up when I order online. The customer service is great & it’s worth crossing the bridge. This small location proves the statement, «the best things come in small packages.»

Some of the guys were very helpful. You kind of have to hand-pick which employees you want to help you, as you can sort of tell the bad ones from the good ones based on attitude. I had Chris from the TV section help me out, and he was the best employee I have ever spoken with. Shaeem was one of the managers there who was very polite and understanding.

Let me start this blog by saying that I love Best Buy. I have purchased almost every piece of my personal electronics in Best Buy stores and I am a card holder. With this said, we usually shop in the Manhattan stores, but this was my first trip to this Bronx store on 610 Exterior Street, Bronx, NY. Usually in other stores, I receive a warm greeting which is followed by a friendly, «May I help you find something?»(paraphrase) Today, I entered the store to find ten employees standing around the front of the store having a personal conversation from what I could overhear. So, I interrupted their chat to ask where the air conditioning units were located. I wish my camera would have been at the ready because this guy looked at me such a rude and unprofessional stare followed by him pointing to another employee standing ten feet away and he said, «Ask her.» I walked over to the employee while they continued to have their conversation. I walked over to the young lady, who was polite and very professional and she helped me with my purchase. Here is where this purchase experience — gets really ridiculous. The staff member who I was assisting me with my purchase invited me to check out at the cashier boxes area(she pointed to the area). So I rolled over with my air conditioning unit and one of the employees at the front of the store says, «As you can see, there are no cashiers there, go over there.» He points to his right. A line with seven people already waiting. So I replied, «Can’t you just check me out here?» He says, «No.» As soon as I roll the extremely heavy unit over to the line, the same employees, says«Mam, you can check out out now.» So by the time, I rolled it back, there are now four people ahead of me on line. This place really needs a strong manager to train employees on customer service. I don’t believe that this is appropriate treatment of a customer. Why is it so difficult to find strong directors/managers who can train and manage employees well? This is one, if not thee, largest electronics store in the country, can’t they can’t afford to train employees? Please let me know what you think.
