Came here a couple of times, I always noticed the angry, rude cook. A women who basic argued with the waitress all night as I ate. To the point were I had to get up and pay at the counter. The food is decent. But the service! Not so good if I were the owner I would put the women cook in check and also cater to customer service a little more.

Horrible! The restaurant is run by young staff with little adult management, the waitress was wiping her hair in the dining room, the delivery service-oriented an hour wait and I am only 1 block away. Never again! You’re better off at a diner.

Great neighborhood place to grab a quick bite on the go. Fast & friendly service. Beats having a burger from a typical greasy spoon diner or franchise food by a mile. Owners are very nice also it has my stamp of approval.

Only ordered out from this place and, I must say they have very kind delivery drivers. The banana milkshake is a must!!! The onion rings consist of real onions which is always great

Kinda want to go back and show some of other Unilocalers pics and question what went wrong today. The chef was more into his phone which I’m sure he didn’t wash his hands after using it and handling food. Ordered beef nachos more like a cut up burger with cheese wiz and a pinch of shredded on top of it with cold cooked onions :$ friend had burger which was cooked right only on half of the burger other half was raw(I kid you not) tater tots were frozen section bought so nothing special. very disappointed especially after seeing pics before doing this review… but then the upset stomach on the way home reminds me never again

Sliders are not bad, shakes are pretty good. Their wraps though are pretty old and gross. Pricing is decent but I think could be a little cheaper. the person at the register is usually young but mostly pretty nice. The kitchen staff well… I have heard some very non food related conversations in there. A cook basically yelling at the cashier saying how she was going to beat her up and some other ratchet jazz. It was quite awkward. But food is decent, I would not come out of my way to eat here.

This spot is lacking on sooo many levels! The service, staff including manager and food were all lackluster. The girls aka«waitresses» were in their own world not even paying attention to us and please keep in mind that the hubster and I were the only ones dining in. The cook staff looked straight out of an episode of Lock Up and the manager could have had been any where but there. Between the hood chatter coming from the kitchen and the bored look on the manager’s face I wanted to run away but we had already placed our orders. The food was blah not terrible but definitely flavorless. My fried onion burger was edible but the onion had way too much batter and tasted flavorless. The burger meat tasted fresh but other than that nothing else stood out. We had to steal utensils and ketchup from an empty table due to the wait staff not even looking our way. We were so turned off that I took a couple of bites and rushed to get out of there. The hubs ordered a Nutella shake to go since everyone here on Unilocal mentioned it. The girl took about 10 minutes to make it. I said wow, that is one serious shake. We tried it and it was a straight up chocolate shake! In the freezer upfront you can totally see their messy ice creams along with boxed frozen cheese cake which was pretty disheartening. All around this place is struggling and you can tell that the manager or owner could careless about his or her establishment. Unilocalers, don’t waste your time here unless you see the cast and crew of Restaurant Impossible in front. Other than that just head to Wendy’s or Red Robin!

I came on a Thursday early afternoon. I sat in the back outside which was nice. Nicely shaded and cool with a TV. The waitress came and took my order quickly and gave good customer service. I ordered a regular burger medium with Burger Time Sauce. My burger was damn near burnt and obviously well done, dry and flavorless. There wasn’t enough sauce on it and the only flavor it had came from the pickles. I told the waitress my burger was over done and she offered me my drink and a dessert on the house which was nice. I have eaten here two or three times before and enjoyed the food so I don’t know what happened this time. The complaint I had from past visits was the wait and that wasn’t a problem this time. The food came fast and was hot. Just wasn’t too delicious. I’ll try again and see if they can get the two good halves together in one visit: fast service and tasty food.

I actually liked the décor. Throwback style NYC with graffiti on the walls. I ordered the«Deep Fried Burger». Yes, it sounds good but I’d give it a 7 out of 10. Definitely nothing to brag about. There was only myself and another customer in the restaurant but for some reason, out of 4 workers, it still took over 30 minutes to get my order. I also ordered the«Deep Fried Cheesecake» which was very tasty.(I was in a deep fried mood today… DON’T JUDGEME!) If the food was served quicker, I’d give this place a higher rating.

Pretty surprised at the bad rep on here, but here goes. I ordered delivery from here(via Grubhub, so can’t speak to other reviews about difficulty calling in orders) and was overall really pleased with it. It seems like a dive burger place, but that’s kind of my thing, so we enjoyed it. PROS: –burgers were cooked to proper temps, even with delivery — definitely a plus! –loaded cheese fries were delicious — seriously, could eat a TON of these, especially with the spicy ranch sauce –price is pretty reasonable and portion size is good –overall burger flavor is great –flamethrower was amazing, though not as spicy as I had hoped — still great! –order actually arrived 10 minutes earlier than quoted, which is nice, too CONS: –bacon on the burgers was pretty flabby/soft — not a fan of that myself, so would caution against that in the future –volcano burger doesn’t really transport/deliver well — the cheese had hardened/gummed up quite a bit so it was difficult to chew some of it(that’s as much on us not thinking of that as it is on them, in my opinion) Overall would definitely recommend!

Had a really great experience at Burger Time this weekend. Not only are the people great but the food is top notch and the atmosphere is really great and fun for the whole family. The owners go out of their way to make sure you are treated properly and on time. For those not shy, I definitely recommend the Excaliburger along with the Nutella shake which is to die for. For a quick night out and for convenience, make time for Burger Time!

Meh. I’ve been here twice and both times I’ve said to myself I won’t go back.(I guess the second time hunger struck hard!). Pros: Food isn’t bad. Lots of options on the menu. Cons: Everything takes forever. No one knows what they’re doing. The older lady behind the counter is rude. They have messed up my order twice. Expensive. Doubt I’ll be returning.

I am so sorry to right this review. But it needs to be said ASAP. I am not sure what is used in the nachos… but… they were not edible… i really do not even know what I was eating. But seriously these were just not edible. There is not much more I can say about them. Everything from the chip, to the so called ‘chili beef’ and cheese that was on top. I got a burger melt thing, which was so damn tiny and too expensive. It did not even come with fries. So I ordered coleslaw to go with it, and it was basically a mayo and cabbage soup. Again… very sorry… but something is wrong with this place. This was what I waited a half hour for at the door? I mean the place had 1 other customer and I waited a half hour for that? Never again.

Walking into Burger Time, I was reminded of Sesame street. A cooler version of Sesame street. The interior design was interesting. Brick-painted walls with graffiti all over. Many references to BURGERTIME was drawn on– a smiling clock holding a soda cup and burger in each hand(no pun, actual hands), a flying burger on top of a baby-blue cloud. Ample seating lines the«alley-way» decorated with«windows.» Inside, the vibe was relaxing. This would definitely make a perfect hang-out place if the food wasn’t so mediocre. My friend Matt and I decided to try this place out because it only recently opened up in the neighborhood. I was sort of apprehensive to go because I have a «go-to» diner where I usually go to order a burger. We ordered a Beef Nacho Platter(described as «Tortilla Chips topped with Seasoned Beef, Tomatoes, Onions, Peppers, Jalapenos & Cheese, served with Sour Cream & Salsa»), French Fried Onion Burger(described as «Bacon, Cheese Onion Rings and Zesty Ranch»), a Strawberry Milkshake, and Root Beer Float. Beef Nacho Platter: I liked how the chips were not soggy, but I wish there was a larger portion of ground beef. The shredded cheese used was what gave the platter a lighter touch than opposed to some heavier, thicker«easy-cheese» nacho cheese used on some other platters I’ve tried. The salsa that came with the chips was very bland but the sour-cream came in a plastic tube and that was interesting. The chips seemed to be out of a bag. The platter was lacking flavor. We wanted a KICK! We thought that it had jalapenos in it but upon closer inspection, we realized there were only green peppers. We asked for jalapenos and were given some in a small solo cup. They tasted like pickled jalapenos and were not fresh at all. They weren’t as hot as I expected them to be. French Fried Onion Burger: Matt ordered the burger rare but was given medium-rare. He said the burger had a stench to it and didn’t seem fresh, as if the patties were refrigerated or a few days or so. The fries that came with the burger tasted and looked like, no joke, MCDONALD’S fries, except less soggier. Other than that, the sauce was tangy and zesty and the onion rings were crunchy. Strawberry Milkshake: Although it was good, I can’t justify it for the price, $ 5. I could taste the fresh strawberries in it and it was delightfully yummy. However, the texture was off. It was thick and hard to drink. It would have been better had the texture been smoother. Root-Beer Float: Again, for the price $ 5, it was mediocre. Basic vanilla ice cream with regular A&W root-beer out a can. Another thing I noticed was that when I went up to the counter to ask if I could take the rest of my nachos to-go, I was asked«Do you want to order something?» than opposed to «Can I help you?» I found this to be awkward and not proper costumer-service etiquette. Note: There is an $ 8 credit-card minimum. Overall: I would not go here again. Too many things on the menu. It is more like a diner to be than a burger place. I would suggest the owners cut down on the items to better-perfect their recipes and invest in better and fresher ingredients.
