The place is really cramped, really awkward when u first walk in if your not a regular. My haircut itself was pretty basic, really wasn’t like how my usual barber at another shop does it but it’s okay I expected that much. Would only go back as a last resort if anything.

So I usually do this myself. Anytime you can save a bit of coin in this day and age you should feel blessed to be able to do so. And I fully realize that the only reason that I can save coin on haircuts by doing it myself is that a baldy isn’t hard to fashion. Get two mirrors and a good clipper, and you’re golden. That’s if you have a sexy head like mine. Anywho… this is the first place in the new neighborhood that I’ve visited for a styling. You see the new digs up in the Bronx isn’t really accommodating for the cutting of one’s own hair. And this way I can spend clean up time on other things. From the first time I stepped in the place I was made to feel welcome. And the wait might be a bit sometimes, especially when you decide to wait for the dude who you exclusively want giving you a cut. But in that wait time is the traditional comradery. The game might be on. People talking about music and shows on tv. The barber shop is the community center. This place is no exception to that.
