So far, the best tasting pizza I’ve tried in the BX. I been to quite a few and haven’t found any better. Not saying it’s the best. .but Emilio does have great tasting pizza and crust period.

Best bang for buck pizza parlor in the Bronx.
I always get their cheese pizza (around $ 3 i think) — always served fresh and hot.
The guys behind the counter are very accommodating and anticipate your needs, handing you the parmesan or basil or chili oil (in short they remember your preferences if you go there often).
My only word of caution would be that the made to order pies can be soggy, as opposed to just getting the slices on display.

I grew up eating Emilio’s pizza! Best pizza spot in the BX plus the price is really inexpensive… I personally love the bacon and pepperoni pizza!

Great pizza for great prices. Oh yeah, also serves ranges of pasta from spaghetti to lasagna. Great little spot in the Bronx that have great large slices of pizza for a cheap price. Quality meets min cost is this place.

Getting a decent slice of pizza from a neighborhood joint is – sadly – becoming increasingly difficult in New York. The pizza here is very good, certainly better than any other place in a wide swath of the Bronx.
Two minor quibbles: there is very limited seating, and a martial arts school is located upstairs. At certain times of day you can hear the stumping above*, not that it really doesn’t matters, but I found it odd enough.
Currently (Fall ’11) they have a great $ 5 micro pie special.
*Seriously, at first you will think that the ceiling is about to fall.

The best pizza in this part of the Bronx! I guess this is the first pizza that has that great crust from back in the day’s when a slice and a soda was $ 1. The Crust brings me back memories. I think the large Pie is $ 16 why waste money with Domino’s when you can order Emilio’s! LOVE the traditional CRUST!
