A nice neighborhood farmer’s market. Cheap, high quality produce and friendly people. A few produce stands, one juice stand, and one bakery stand, at least this morning. They accept EBT and Debit/​Credit as well. Open from 8 to 4 on the corner of 161 and the Concourse.

Bronx, NY
This market is open every TUESDAY in the summer. There are much bigger greenmarkets in the city, but this one has great prices, and if you live in the Bronx it’s close. Most vegetables and fruits are available, including leaks, peppers, kale, onions, berries, pears etc.
Now and then you can buy an apple pie or muffins.
The quality of produce is high, more fresh than anything you can find in the stores. Neighborhood people often meet up at the market, it’s a lot of fun to shop here.
