I visited Grindhouse sports originally just to get some cool stickers… I ended up leaving with some awesome knowledge about paintball and even grew a interest in the sport. I was able to hold a great conversation with Ruben(manager) and Alex(store owner and about 20year experience with paintballing) about paintball and another conversation with Pedro(a sponsored skateboarder) about skateboarding. The staff here is great the pricing of their products are decent and they will order anything you ask for if they don’t have it in stock which I think it’s a plus because they will do a special order for me and just by purchasing from them if anything goes wrong they have lifetime store warranty. Plus they are a full pro shop for both paintball and skateboarding so they pretty much do anything for both sports. Overall once I get my marker and other stuff(through them) ill def have them as my paintball and skate shop to go to all the time. Thank you Ruben Alex Debbie and Pedro for giving me a great customer experience in the shop

I’m going to quote one of the staff members after looking over my marker/gun: Do you want to hear the good news or bad news: Thus will go for this review. The good news is that the Bronx has a sports related shop that caters to skateboarding and paintball, excellent, instead of the thousands of deli’s and random stores. Finally a store that caters to activities. Not very busy on my visit so I got full attention with my inquiries except for a kid that was getting his skateboard fixed. I didn’t deal with the owner but the staff I dealt with were very attentive, knowledgeable, informative and answered all my questions. I was there for paintball related reasons so I will leave the skateboarding review for someone else. They stock a little bit of different items related to skateboarding and paintball. I saw on display a couple of Dye i4s, Sly Profits, vest, tanks, barrels, paintballs, a handful of markers like the LV1, Ego and other high end markers at average retail prices. They do tank related services and you can test your marker there. They repair and do maintenance. They do orders if anything is needed. Great little shop. They plan trips also to PSI paintball field upstate, $ 85 this Sunday-July 14th which is Bus to and from field, BYOP, BBQ, Rental… supposedly, with all ads things aren’t always exact so call for specific details. The bad news is they are a business and like every business they need to stay alive with sales pitches and charge for extras. They aren’t pushy but with some inquires they say or hint on the possibility of you might needing this and that, just a bit of it. Maintenance is $ 45 per marker and that’s just looking over or giving the marker some lube — o-rings, etc… labor, not parts.
