Papa John’s Pizza

I love papa john’s. This review is solely for this location. They have the worst customer service. The order takes too long to be delivered. And the driver who delivered my pizza today was very rude. I live on the 2^nd floor of a 3-​story private home and the driver had the guts to tell me why I can’t come down to get the pizza, why he has to climb the stairs to get to my door. I just smiled at him and said have a nice day thinking maybe he’s having a rough day that’s why he acted that way. But I won’t be ordering from this location ever again.

It unclean place plus the man who made pizza use his hands without gloves even he didn’t wash with a lot of hair on it, how can this company work like this disgusting place

I just ordered a pizza from this papa John’s. The only complaint I have is that the delivery driver (red car) was rude. He never said thank you after I tipped him. He just took the money. Such poor customer service.

This place deserves no stars. You will stay on the phone forever calling and they will never pick up. They show up an hour and a half late with a very cold pizza. Stay away and do not order from this place take your business to dominos pizza.
This place deserves no stars!!! Also, the papa johns in white plains road is also a disgrace. I called to ask a question and a very unprofessional guy answered the phone after 5 rings (way to go for a place of business) this guy was so dumb and stupid I wanted to go over and slap him across his face.

The Papa John Restaurant near Castle Hill Ave is not the type of place where you can sit and order pizza. It is mainly a Take Out & Carry or Delivery place. The food here is typical of a usual Papa John’s Restaurant. And while I usually order from the big three (Pizza Hut/​Dominos/​Papa John’s) from time to time (depending on what dessert I’m in the mood for. If it’s chocolate Molten Cake then I call Dominos’, if I want cookies I call Papa Johns… well you get the idea, right?) Papa John’s, to me, is the fastest of the three.
However, lately, they have been in the habit of forgetting an item I ordered and usually have to make a 2^nd visit to my place to deliver the rest of my order. For example, this past Sunday I ordered a Large Pizza, Chicken Wings and a Cookie Dessert. When the driver showed up with my order he had forgotten my Cookie Dessert and had to return with it. Now granted he returned in 7 minutes with the rest of my order but he should have had the complete order to begin with.
This is why I am only giving them 3 Stars. Food is good. Service can be better.

Not very clean slow service. And rude employees.

Not quite the best pizza in New York BUT I am a fan of this particular location. When it comes to carb and cheese delivery, fast delivery is KEY for me. So what the delivery guy doesn’t speak english? It’s a quick exchange. I hand him some cash and he gives me some boxes. Just for kicks, we both say ‘gracias’ and I keep it moving.
Deducting one star only because they used to deliver to my door but now we have to come downstairs. All in all, not a bad deal.

This is a pretty good papa john’s. They’re pretty quick with the delivery. And yummy papa john’s. I always wonder, why in the city with the best pizza in the world, papa john’s does so well, it’s just good.
