I’m so sad I just heard that this place is closed. I used to live in the Bronx and this was one of my go to spots. They serve solid pizza that always made you want more. People around the area can attest that their pizza was great. It was great until it lasted. All those times when I was hungry… I salute you Roma’s.

I finally got to try this pizza. I been curious ever since I read the reviews. Caden my son and I had JLO moment found dinero so he treated me and him to a large pizza and some garlic knots. The pizza took a bit long to make but I love seeing homemade pizza. I am so sick of fake pizza like Dominos, Papa John and the list goes on… Yeah first all the garlic knots were delicious. Now the pizza was really good I loved that two slices fulled me and my son up so now we have leftovers for tonight dinner. Overall very tasty, just a bit salty. Now I have to try another authentic pizza place to compare. So I can have go to place when I want real Italian pizza…

Love this place I could eat here every day. It’s hard to find good pizza nowadays so if you’re looking for a great slice of pizza come here.

I have gone out of my way for a slice. It is authentic, and that’s what everyone needs in their life.

My go to neighborhood pizza. They make great vegetable pies(with an actual variety of vegetables).

I started going here for lunch on a weekly basis, when I was working in the neighborhood. The pizza was tasty. However, one day I was short on cash in my pocket for my single slice. Vito was there, the same person who always was there every time I’d been there. I realized I was short after I ordered. He told me to go get some cash first and wouldn’t let me eat. Seems like no big deal, but it was in STARK contrast to Mario’s on Gun Hill, where the guy told me to «just pay me next time» when I’d not been there nearly as much(at least at that point). Neighborhood feel is important to me. I thought Vito and I had some rapport, at least some familiarity. Didn’t feel it here. Haven’t been back since. Won’t be going back again. Too many other pizza places in the hood with slices that are just as good or better and are places where I feel more welcomed.

5 stars isn’t exactly for the pizza, but for my love for Roma overall. I too grew up on their pizza, so a nourished belly can never complain. Stop in for a quick slice and update Vito on your life. He’s always willing to lend an ear! Just your regular neighborhood pizzeria with a little love sprinkled in(yes, as corny as that sounds)!
