Well for anyone that’s wants to know whats it like to visit a bar in mexico, by all means come here. That aside this is the worst Ihop i ever had the«joy» to enter, its to small and extremely crowed. The waiters are clueless and unhelpful, my hash browns where brunt, there’s only one black employee and all the other costumers talk out loud and in latin no doubt. I will never be coming back, but at least there was one waiter that made my trip here worth it, his name for all i know is Joe. F, he was very patient, nice and helpful during my first time here. He should be given a raise or looked upon as a better waiter at least.

IHOP this particular one is pretty small and feels cramped up. Its always busy here. The employees are semi friendly they don’t seem to happy to be here. The food is pretty good. It takes long to get to arrive though.

Love it here ! Great service, friendly waiters and fast with the food. The place isn’t so big but they do arrange you to your comfort. Highly recommend for a quick breakfast before you go.

Waiting area/location details: Definitely a neighborhood ihop with a comfortable seating area. However the thing that hurt this ihop location are the wait times and how packed this place becomes between the hours of 11am-6pm. It is complete choas trying to wait for your name just to be called. Service: Once your name is called its smooth sailing from here. You sit down right away and our waiter was very nice and very right to the point we must of had our food our on the table in 10 mins from us sitting down. Service and quality was generally quick.

Mehh, it’s IHOP. I don’t know what people go in here expecting besides cheap food, yummy alcohol-free drink mixes, and syrup flavors drowning in food coloring. It was nearly empty on a Sunday night so service and food were quick. Their mozzarella sticks, as always, were delicious. Honestly, I prefer IHOP’s mozzarella sticks over their pancakes. My chicken sandwich was slightly bland, but wasn’t anything that couldn’t be helped with pepper and ketchup. It’s a cleaner location than the one in Pelham. Brotip: Don’t seriously expect that there won’t be a wait on a weekend morning. Go when the flocks won’t.

They usually have a wait-time just about any other ihop you’ll prolly ever go to but the food was good and it was decent fast service. Two– thumbs up Kingsbridge :). I love my neighborhood!!!

It’s an IHOP, nothing more and nothing less. Go early on a Saturday or Sunday to avoid the long wait… most folks seem to arrive after about 10 – 11 am. Wait staff is usually quick and friendly. Food has always been hot when served in my experience. No problems. Breakfast food is OK, wouldn’t recommend dinner though… that is kinda bland.

I usually don’t write positive reviews. I usually hate chain restaurants. I usually despise overhyped stuff in Riverdale. So why four stars(3.5, really)? I can bring my two young children there for a weekend treat when they’ve been good and know they’ll get something that is healthier than fast food. The pancakes are decent and the eggs are solid. I’ve always found the service friendly and attentive. I’ve always found parking. I’ve always found the facilities clean. I haven’t found the place too small. I am not morbidly obese. I did not smell poop. Not sure why there’s so much hating about this place. There are so many nasty places in and around Riverdale that never seem to die. And so many nastier chain restaurants in Manhattan that seem to do okay. As chain restaurants go, this is one of the better ones.

I don’t really like Ihop pancakes, they are simply not my type. I’ve had better pancakes than these. The service at this place can be pretty horrendous, and also the wait is crazy! I think I would only go to this place if my friends drag me to it, and even then I won’t eat pancakes.

I have to say I love to come to IHOP. today was a good day to go, they had all you can eat pancakes, and let me tell you i love me some. after placing my order and just getting myself and my wife some hash browns and eggs, it was ON! But before I tell how many plates pass the table i was sitting, well a little about the Establishment. one of the things that i hate the most is one crowded restaurant, the staff try their best to get them to their table and get them out as fast as they can. but it’s always a failure, the more they get out the more comes right in. I have to say the staff was on point, but when it came to the customers, they where the Jack Of Ass, every person that was there, they know the path from the table to the door is very small but yet they push you and look at you like it was your fault, but that was not going to stop my mission, to enjoy as many pancakes that a man can handle. also to add, when it come to and IHOP, from out of state, it is so different and faster, then the one here in the city, BIGTIME! So as soon as i was done I began, let me tell you I pigged out, that after the smoke was lifted and the gun shoots where done, three plates of IHOP pancakes, won the day and i left, holding my Belly and telling my beloved, there is NOROOMFORLUNCHTODAY! LoL so I give them four stars, for making the boss happy.

You would think that a chain that calls themselves INTERNATIONAL would know how the different pancakes are made. Being Danish I know that is not how we eat our danish pancakes in any of our different parts of the country. Also the pancakes where really gooey and not delicious at all. The syrups are uninspiring. The price is definitely over the top compared to both the quality and quantity that is given.

It’s been ages since I’ve been to a IHOP which I was working up an appetite after sleeping late on my one day off after working a long haul exhausting, stressful agita week. A good friend(who unearthed his overly obssesed womanizing needs) offered to spend a lazy Sunday with him which I obliged to IHOP for brunch. Our waitress has a sacrastic yet disgruntled personality of serving. The ham, egg, and cheese melt sandwich is to kill for, yet plentiful. It briefly brought a smile to comfort shedding light off my darkness of deep despair. The hot chocolate with whip cream warms the heart as it was the day after the Northeast massive blizzard snow storm(December 19th, 2009) of approx. two feet. This International House of Pancakes diner is very kid friendly yet very dated décor to the early 1980’s era.

Oh man, don’t even try to come here on a weekend morning. Hours of my life will never be returned. Chocolate chip pancakes are still hard to beat. This place was excellent in 1990. Now let’s all travel back in time.

I tell you what drove my to go to IHOP in the first place — those delicious cream of wheat pancakes that they clearly stopped making years ago. But that was not the problem. I was OK with the grease. I was OK with dirt on the floor. I was even OK with the fact that everyone was morbidly obese. I was not OK when the smell of poop wafted through the restaurant and no one but my group of friends seemed mildly disturbed. Oh ick.

Aside from the fact that this is a chain restaurant in New York and that it’s IHOP, the international standard for sub-par food people just can’t stop eating, this particular location is the pits. Don’t do it! It’s too small, for one thing. A fact that becomes abundantly clear on any weekend whent he people of Riverdale who don’t know any better flock here for their diabetic rush. It’s open 24 hours, though, and the evenings are usually fine as far as I can tell. The other problem is that the service has never been particularly good. Every time I’ve come here there’s been a problem. To top it off, the food just isn’t that good. Remember the Funnel Cake promotion from last year? I’d hardly call those things funnel cakes. Sugary ropes fried in lard is more like it. Real Funnel Cake is ambrosia. The only thing that saves this place is the 24 hours thing. If I really need a pancake at 3am I can go here to get it. then again, the Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins right around the corner is also 24 hours. And an ice cream/glazed donut sundae at 3am may be better than pancakes. What wrong with me, you ask? I’m obviously high on sugar…
