I can’t complain. I only been here twice with friends, nothing but good vibes. Its not a fancy place to really dress up in heels or not wear any sneakers. The bartenders always have their attention on their customers. …downstairs is way to small

It’s more like a «Cheers» type atmosphere where everyone knows everyone, which is good except if you came out to socialize and network with new people. Not big at all in size and No dancing is allowed… Maybe it was just that night. I will give it another try soon and see what I feel then

I read all the reviews and I agree with some things, like yes they should enforce a dress code. It wasn’t crowed but it was cozy, the bouncer did inquire about how I was referred but again anyone with a business since of my they just want to no where there being advertised. The staff was pleasant drinks were great and the music was even better. It’s definitely a mixed crowd put people were friendly. I also saw the Halloween decorations up and asked, but they did explain they were having there Halloween party that Saturday since it feel on a weekday. I would go back any time. It’s the local hangout when you don’t feel like traveling or getting all dolled up and can have a drink.

DONOTGOHERE. someone who works at this place must have wrote that other review. first of all the place is not sleek or sexy. they completely fooled use w/the photos they posted or we would NOT have went. the nicest thing in there is the picture on the bathroom wall. I’m 23, this place should just say ’ regulars 35 and older ’ lol . so we take our things off(no coat check). a sign that says no dancing allowed we didn’t know if it was a joke or not but the music wasn’t good enough to be dancing anyway so lmaooo … walk up to the bar where you can tell the people standing and sittin at the bar work there and/or go there ALL the time. blonde hair/brown skin girl eating chicken at the bar, comes to find out she’s a bartender, after she was done suckin on the bone looking crazy she starts to actually do her job(oh & those free shots she couldn’t even find the shot glasses, lmaoo SAD .) soooo … we go up to the other bartender dressed like she going to the bodega(yellow bone whose face/hair look like she was just ran a train on and left fa dead). stand there, I’m not rude I wait till she finishes other orders before I feel I can ask for the drink or she asks me what I would like. however it got to the point I was standing there so long that I asked my friends(visiting from atlanta) do they want to leave, smh. she made us feel as if she did not want to serve us, nor be nice to us. she never smiled once(IFYOUDON’T LIKEYOURJOBFINDANOTHER) i went to bartending school, whoever her boss is FAIL. she finally after like 10 minutes of standing there or being ignored and having eyes all in my face I ask her about the shots. THEYARENOTTHURSDAYFREECIROCSHOTSITSTHURSDAYNIGHTFROM11pm — 12am ANDTHEREPROBABLYGOINGTOTRYTOGIVETHEMTOYOUAT11:45, lmaoooo smh). so I ask can i have something else till the 10min we waited she said they didn’t have a specific addition to my drink I asked for(SO I CANADMITTHEOWNERWASNICEONTHATPARTANDWENTTOGOGETIT) he gives her the addition, can y’all believe I waited and stood there another 10min as she made the drink(it’s 11:13 at this point) the blonde one don’t know wtf she’s doing & the yellow one finally says to her get them shots. after all that do you know SHEHADTHEAUDACITYTOGIVEMEMYCHANGEINALLSINGLESSTILLTHINKINGSHEWASGOINGTOGET A TIP. OLDESTTRICKINTHEBOOKTHE I LEARNEDINBARTENDINGSCHOOLSOPEOPLEWILL/HAVE TOTIPYOU. FOH !!!(fuck outta here). I definitely took my change and drink with a smile and gave her my back, there’s your tip: p . so I’d have to say the only thing nice was THEBOUNCERS(door & inside), he asked did I order my drink. noticed i was standing for hella long ! smh. cracked a smile to us etc.(might have been because we were the cutest most well put together females in there id want to be nice too !) I just don’t see how a business can be ran like that. the bartenders should be in all black, should be nice to customers, the bouncers & «DEM«should not be chilling at the bar. sooo all in all THISISWHAT I GETFORTRYINGTOSUPPORT A LOCALBUSINESS(i live in co-op city) ANDYOUWONDERWHYSOMANYPEOPLEGODOWNTOWNTHEYDON’T PLAYTHATDOWNTOWN.
