I really loooove Nona’s pizza… best in Riverdale…
The place is located in a very good area I find that I can walk or drive there, always find parking. The staff is always very nice, friendly, and attentive. The décor is warm and inviting, wood furnishings of a classic pizzeria. Now, onto the food itself: I’ve read people complain that the menu is expensive however you pay for what you get. Everything I’ve tried is always delicious the the crust is always so crispy and the sauce amazing! So if you’re in riverdale and want to eat a delicious slice of pizza you Must visit Nona’s pizzeria.

This is my absolute favorite local pizza place. Their food is incredible and their staff are just about the friendliest you will ever meet. They could work on home delivery speed, but the food is more than worth the wait.

I want to give this place 4 yums instead of 4 stars! I’m mostly a vegetarian and the woman behind the counter said none of the sauce is made with meat. Nona’s is spotless, everyone is incredibly nice and you can see how clean they are which is a HUGE thing for me. Really good pizza. Love it.

I’ve been coming to this pizza place since before it was Nona’s and honestly, as much as I enjoy the pizza it’s so expensive I usually just walk 10 minutes to Addeos. I mean $ 7 for two slices of pepperoni when I can get it for $ 6 up the block? No thank you.

Came here because of the the great reviews on Unilocal and loved it. The pizza sauce is very authentic, and taste homemade. Was exactly what I was looking for ! Can’t wait to try more of their pizzas and pastas.

I have been eating here for the past month and ordering pizza for my co workers at the Yonkers bus depot this has to be best pizza/​restaurant I’ve seen in years it’s hard to find a place like this that is always consistent in their food and service the staff is courteous and the food outstanding I give this place 5 stars and 3 mmm’s.

This place is my life saver! I have stopped here countless times on the way home from school. I live that they’re open so late since I usually can’t get home until late at night.
The pizza is very tasty, but nothing super amazing. It basically tastes like all other non dollar slices in NYC. I always just get a plain slice, and that is 2.75, which I think it’s a little expensive.
The reason I’m giving them 5 stars is because the staff are insanely nice and helpful. I forgot about their $ 10 credit minimum, and the man behind the counter sold me the slice for $ 2 since it was all I had on me.

I realllyyy like this Pizza shop. The staff is super friendly and personable. I honestly havent met a nice pizza shop owner in a while. The food is great too. We order two large pies and they came out quicker than expected and tasted amazing.
My greedy self ordered two canollies it was sooooo good. God bless! Haha

1) They took one hour and a half when they said it would be 45 minutes.
2)The pizza was super small to be a «large»
3) they overcharged my card, when I called they said it was tax, so apparently their math is very off…
4) They are rude
5)pizza was cold

Don’t go here. They are unethical and have terrible service. I’ve ordered here on two occasions and first time it took 1.5 hours and I got a cold pizza. Second time my food never even came. When I spoke w the manager he was short w me and incredibly ride.

This is our go-​to spot for good Italian food when I don’t want to cook. We usually get the chicken fettuccini alfredo, lasagna or chicken parm hero. All are very good. I always call 20 mins ahead and my order is packed and ready to go when I get there.

It can be hard finding a place that delivers good food to the college. However, Nona’s food is always delicious! They don’t over cook the chicken in the Chicken Parmigiana hero sandwiches. They make delicious spinach and cheese calzones.
I am always happy with the service and the ladies on campus loveee the delivery guy.
I wish we had Nona’s around when I was attending the college.
