One of the better petlands in the city when it comes to fish selection and fish supplies but be very careful picking your fish. I have noticed ick infested tanks more than a few times.

Anyways, Petland Discounts is NOT my first choice for my little one’s needs. The store is small, cramped, and expensive. Cat toys are not exactly advanced technology, so there’s really no reason why the prices are jacked up. I got a better toy at a pet store in Manhattan for less than two dollars.
Anyways, you’re better off going to the PetSmart in Pelham.

Petland Discounts is one of those chain Pet Stores (like Petco) that provide all your pets needs — from specialty foods to toys and other items for your pet (s).
While it is convenient, being located in Co-​Op City I always felt that Petland Discounts was over-​priced on certain items but they do come in handy when you’ve no place else to go.
The service at this location can be slow at times as employees seems to always be in the back yacking and texting with their fellow employees or friends.
