Prince of Pastry

Can you say LOVE!!! This place has the most delicious goodies. Let me start with the white chocolate rainbow cookies… it is the best I’ve ever had in my life. Be careful though it’s like crack, you will keep going back for more. The cakes are amazing! The decorations are exquisite! The almond raspberry cupcakes are to die for… I can go on and on. Michelle is so sweet and her husband who is the pastry chef is so talented. You can not go wrong here!

My fiancé and I met with Michele and Jack last night and they were both oooo so sweet, very down to earth and just amazingly creative. We were able to sample some pastries in our last minute consultation with them and I have to say those white chocolate rainbow cookies thouuuuuuuuuu!!! Cant wait to go back to for cake tasting, indulge indulge indulge.

Everywhere I go for dinner I always try the cheesecake if it’s on the menu. I just love cheesecake! But because
is an online bakery, I didn’t know what to expect. Would the stuff arrive in good shape? Would it be fresh? How long would it take for it to arrive? These are all question one must ask if one expects to have a nice overall experience with an online company. Especially if it’s a company that sells something you can eat. Well I must say that I wasn’t disappointed. My Coconut Guava Cheesecake arrived in three days, just like they promised and it was still cold because the people at NYPP packed the stuff in Styrofoam with a bunch of dry ice, so my product arrived intact. I was instantly blown away by the care they gave my order.
Then came the real test. I had never tried a Coconut Guava Cheesecake so I didn’t know what to expect there either. Being from the caribbean I had to try this fusion of flavors and I was instantly hooked! This is the most delicious cheesecake I have ever tried. I don’t know how they do it, but the taste is just incredible! It was creamy and rich in flavor. The perfect balance between the cheese flavor and the sweet of the coconut and the guava. This cheesecake has a thin crust at the bottom that is just perfect as a base. I think that all the flavor of the cheesecake ends up going into this crust and when you bite into it the flavors seem to multiply. All I can say is it was worth the $ 36 plus shipping it cost me, because I think the best thing about the entire experience was that I had this cheesecake for over two weeks in my refrigerator and it stayed fresh throughout the entire time. What can I say? I didn’t want it to end.
Ever since I ordered my first cheesecake, I’ve ordered other ones, like the Raspberry Swirl one and a New York Cheesecake that I can’t even explain how much it puts other NY Cheesecakes to shame.
