Yo!!! This place is the BOMB!!! The prices are perfect. The food is delicious! Do you want to throw down on some serious Dominican food? Of course you do! If not, why the hell are you reading this? Move on buddy… Anyway, the menu is super huge. Judging by the previous reviews, I hit this spot at a good time. The service is good and lightening fast(I ate in for my first visit). This is the Latin type of spot where you can’t decide what to eat because everything is so insanely good. I decided on the Carne Guisada(Beef Stew), rice and beans and a side order of calamari. Absolute perfection… yes, read that again and let is sink in real slow… I do not mince words about this place. If you come here, take your time in deciding and savoring every sensation that your taste buds go through. Be here now… Meanwhile, what’s the deal with this address listing? 2233 Boston Road is in THEBRONX, not Manhattan. People are probably going nuts trying to find this place.

Great food and even better service! Best little spot around! Owner is one of a kind and his staff are top notch

It isn’t the best but it has a loyal customer base with cheap prices for some filling(albeit salty) Dominican food. They’ve done good by me when I was sick providing a mean chicken soup for $ 4. They have a rice, beans, meat special for $ 5 and they have great breakfast specials. I suggest you call in ahead. They will take forever with your order

Que pena despues de tanto tiempo pedi una orden de mangu y la comida fue un desastre el mangu nada en aceite, pedi solo para botarlo. No ordenen en este restaurante. WHAT A SHAME !!! About a year ago the food was okay, I recently ordered mangu breakfast and it looked like SOUP the mangu was totally sinked into a batch of oil … Horrible don’t order people save your money., such a shame they started good and over time they have just gone down hill. HORRIBLE!!!

Went to buy a cuban sandwich since the restaurant i like was packed. The sandwich was a disaster it tasted horrible and it smelled like garbage meat. Beside that the lady took forever to make it and charge me more than any other restaurant i been to.

Typical dominican food. Had the white rice with beef stew. Beef stew had a bit more black pepper than what I’m used to, but it was yummy. Red beans were missing some flavoring. Overall, good, but nothing really blew my mind.

Pass it by everyday and finally stopped in the other night. Waste of time & money. While the service was pleasant, they couldn’t work out 2 soups, a rice and an avocado salad all at once– and the place was was empty(though the stereo was blaring loud for someone’s pleasure). Soups arrived cold. Rice was hard(either old or undercooked) and the avocado came as an after thought sometime later. The girl was kind enough to microwave the pitifully empty San Cocho’s to a fairly edible warm. Fine, I’ll live, but I’m wishing I drove another five minutes to any of the good Dominican places nearby– especially when the bill turns out to be $ 29 for two soups, a rice and an avocado. AND that included A $ 2FEEFOREATINGTHEFOODTHERE. Where the fk was I supposed to eat? In the car? This ain’t Europe– this is a hole at the end of Boston Rd. As I told them– completely underwhelming. FIRST&LAST.

This place has great hispanic Caribbean food !!! The ladies who work there are nice and the owner, Steven is really cool. I highly suggest getting the boneless breast fried chicken chunks with of course, rice and beans.

This is your typical stop and go spot for some yummy Dominican food. It’s not the best, but it will suffice on a night you don’t feel like cooking. Chicharron de pollo con arroz y maduros hits the spot! Service is definitely MEH and, for this reason, I always get my food to go.
