Since the change of ownership some rolls do not taste the same. Friendly staff and always helpful

Had some tasty delivery sushi from here last night. The unique rolls we got were very good: Yaki Shitake, and the HD Construction. However, portion size was questionable, and the green salad was a rather sad mound of iceberg lettuce. Delivery came on time, no complaints at all about the service.

Fresh sushi! They will accommodate special requests like brown rice or add crunches. My favorite is spicy tuna roll with brown rice.

I love Sushi Q!!! The service is great! I have a gluten allergy and the owner always goes out of his way to make my rolls safe and delicious. My favorite is the Anthony’s Collision(gluten free version). I could eat here everyday! :-)

Pretty good! Great service! Wish the portions were a bit bigger but I can’t complain too much.

I live in Co-op City and have been searching for good sushi; my quest is over. This small and quaint spot has a wide variety which should satisfy the pickiest. The owner and waitstaff was very personable. As it was my first time I started small with the green salad and the Nicole roll(spicy tuna inside with salmon and crunch on top). It was fresh and flavorful; it didn’t disappoint.

Came here for the first time after my cousin’s recommendation. Tried their spicy tuna roll with crunch, chicken tempura roll, and Anthony’s collision. All three were delicious and the staff were super sweet! Will definitely be coming back to this gem in the Bronx =D

This place is so nice! It’s bright and nicely decorated on the inside, making this small spot feel spacious. The staff is very friendly and on a friday night was still preparing orders quickly.(I took mine to go) The gyoza was delicious and fried to crispy perfection! I also had a mindy roll which had good flavor with soft tuna and salmon on the inside and on top. It has great variety for the area. I didn’t think I would be able to find good sushi/japanese around here but this is it!

My favorite sushi place around here ! It’s simple and delicious. The fish is fresh and the food has delicious taste. Any meat or fish my boyfriend has ordered was fresh and delicious while anything vegetarian I order has so much flavor!

I love this place! I’ve been here a couple of times, just went today to pick up some rolls. They’re all pretty good, but my favs are the HD Construction and the Crunchtime Fitness. Miso soup is also very good here.

Awful place. I went here with my cousins who were taking their daughters to Dance/Gymnastics school right around the area. While we were waiting we decided to look for a dining establishment and bumped into this place. Upon entering, we noticed only 2 minutes had passed since the Lunch Specials were available and asked if we could order from that menu. They denied us, but we continued to look at the menu. For the appetizer, I settled on a Vegetable Sushi(where the Chef decided on what combinations of vegetables to give me. I was thinking, that as in other Sushi places I’ve visited it would be some sort of avocado/cucumber/sweet potato combo. However, when I got my order, they gave me cucumber with iceberg lettuce. Yes, you read right. ICEBERGLETTUCE. yuck!!! Who serves that crap? Apparently this place does. I’ve never been to a Sushi place where one of the vegetables added on to a Sushi roll consists of Iceberg Lettuce. It is entirely void of nutrients. This experience has allowed me to immerse my self in conversations around sushi fanatics and the culinary experience. I’ve come to one idea, which is if you are a sushi place, no matter where you are located, the establishment should serve authentic meals with optimal produce. You shouldn’t try to fool a population. I understand this establishment is located in the Bronx(Pelham Bay area), which might limit the amount of true Sushi eaters that will go eat at this place. However, the quality of the food is precisely what city goers will go after. The popularity of an establishment is precisely placed on the food. For the entrée, I ordered Vegetable Teriyaki, an amazing sweet-sourish type sauce that when cooked properly is thick and coats the tofu/veggies very well with its brownish color. When they brought over the dish, it was all watery and the vegetables looked like they were from a frozen package. They taste horrible, like the only thing on the veggies was stock. I had to literally coat the veggies and rice with soy sauce to make it edible. The starting salad again was Iceberg lettuce and the ginger-carrot dressing lacked real ginger flavor. The miso soup hardly had any pieces of tofu in it. This whole experience was a culinary disaster. I didn’t make a big fuss about the meal and remained calm and courteous to the restaurant staff. I will not go back to this place again.

First time going to a sushi restaurant and this place was nice. The employees were nice and the sushi was good. Well in between decent and good, but going more towards the good side. Lol. I ordered a Shrimp T… Something something but you’ll see it on the Menu for like $ 5.75. It has fried shrimp, avocado and some other stuff but it was good. Btw if you’re iffy about this place and want to stay on the safe side then look for what I ordered and anything above it.

I received the worst service here ever! I was told in front of a restaurant filled with customers that my take out order was not prepared because I had supposedly ordered 6 months ago and never came to pick up my food. That is first of all completely untrue and second of all, entirely rude. How do you accuse a customer of something like this without significant proof… how do you accuse a customer of something like this at all! I explained to both the chef and the cashier that this was not true and that I’ve ordered and dined at the restaurant several times after January with no trouble(by no trouble I mean dealing with the rude waitress because I like their chicken teriyaki) but apparently they didn’t recall any of this(how convenient)! All in all, after several visits to this establishment it has become clear to me that no chicken teriyaki is worth the foul treatment I’ve received from the employees at this location EVERYTIME.

I like this sushi place based on the mere fact that they exist here and have good shrimp tempura rolls. I love their spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls. The people are friendly and even deliver. There was an odd moment when I tried to order and they told met hey ran out rice… Which is definitely strange considering they are a sushi spot.

I’m rating this 4 because it’s a sushi spot in the Bronx. Your not gonna find too sushi but you do find pretty decent sushi. People on here sometimes rate unfairly but I like this spot. It’s run by an old school Japanese team and they have decent food all around. If your gonna give this one star and be song well don’t order sushi in the Bronx at all. Don’t miss out in their tempura roll and spicy tuna roll.
