Good food but extremely terrible customer service which is usually the demise of most black owned businesses which I’m sad to say. The owner is a nice gentleman but the rude women he has dealing with the public need to go! ASAP! I have been overcharged a few times and have waited super long for something as simple as a wrap… you would think that they would apologize but no just nasty attitude and facial expressions for inquiring about the price or wait time.

I love Ultimate Grill food, but they lose major points with delivery– that’ll be a 2 star. They are never on time with my food. It if weren’t for that I’ll order from UG every other day. The chef is friendly, wraps are delicious, but my favorite has to be their Rasta Pasta. Like my dad noted the Cobb Salad is great. UG work on delivery time and I’ll be your #1 fan! I get it, it’s fresh food that’s made to order but don’t tell me food shall be here within an hour and I get it 1.5−2 hrs later. Not cool. But I’ll forgive you because I love the food!

Best place of it kind in the Bronx. Rasta Pasta will change your life and the owner is an awesome young man with a heart of gold. I’d gladly bring any friend there

Three must-have items: Veggie Blast Smoothie. Jerk Chicken Wrap. Salmon Salad. My boo and I are conscious of what we eat and being in the Bronx, sometimes it’s hard to find something well prepared and health concious. Sometimes it takes a while for the order… But I’m sure it’s because it’s made to order. I eat there at least twice a month.

I’m only giving it 2 stars because my salmon wraps are always slamming. My only issue with them is that they always charge me different than prices for the same thing! It’s like they charge you what they want. When the menus clearly says other wise. Never coming back again. Don’t like to be jerked for my money. Too bad.

If you like fresh food, grilled deliciousness, and A Jamaican chef that has brought innovative thought to Jamaican fair I suggest you try this place out. The food is fresh, not oily, and plated well. The service is friendly as well. We ate in the restaurant and service was quick and the atmosphere was chic but laid back. Very clean. I would suggest eating in or grabbing pick up if it is your first time. An excellent representation of Jamaican food, you can tell the food is cooked with love and good quality ingredients. I had the shrimp and chicken grill combo, my Khalifa had the salmon. Both great. This will be one of our spots in the Bronx when we visit.

This was my second time ordering food from this establishment. My first time ordering my BF and I ordered the salmon, jerk chicken and a smoothie. After TWOHOURS our food finally arrived and the order was incorrect! We were already«HANGRY» so we wrote it off as a lost and consumed what the dishes. The jerk chicken was dry and so was the salmon. The ginger fruit smoothie I had was great though. Fast forward to Monday night. I decided to give them another chance. I ordered the«Rasta Pasta», coconut crusted shrimp and the Jamaican pepper shrimp. The delivery only took an hour(considering my food is made to order and they have other deliveries I won’t fuss). The«Rasta Pasta» is a DISGRACE!!! I’ve had several types of rasta pasta and this by far has to be the worse one! The sauce is a BBQ/Ketchup base. That is the only taste you will experience. The coconut shrimp wasn’t bad… I wouldn’t call it crusted. It’s grilled shrimp… dipped in honey mustard with coconut flakes sprinkled on top. Now the Jamaican pepper shrimp was grilled shrimp with a heavy dusting of Cayenne pepper. Caribbean people know how Jamaican Pepper shrimp should be prepared so needless to say I was disappointed. I will no longer support this establishment. Some shaking up needs to occur in the kitchen! ASAP

BEWARE when ordering for delivery. The first time we had Ultimate Grill was just last week. We ordered it thru GrubHub and was amazed at the ease of ordering. The best part is that they accept paypal and have the option to include gratuity. It was delivered a little over an hour. Today we decided to try them out again. We ordered thru the app(GrubHub) at 6:44pm and was delivered at 9:15pm…yes, over 2 ½ hours! The app indicated that the estimated delivery was 8:30pm, luckily we weren’t that«hangry». lol. Anyways, I called to inquire about my order since it was almost 30 min past the expected delivery time. A lady named Teresa indicated that they were swamped with orders but assured me that my order was on the way.(FYI-She failed to apologize to the customer). Our door bell rings and my phone rings immediately after. Teresa was on the phone calling me to advise that my delivery has been outside waiting on me(the nerve… after waiting over 2 ½ hours for the food.) The delivery man did not apologize for the delay either. The one star is for their delicious food. The quality of their food is also amazing. As soon as they rectify their delivery option and enhance their people skills… they will be perfect. It’s just too bad because Ultimate Grill has potential.

After asking the chef not to be so generous w the pasta sauce(previously there was too much sauce for my liking); my meal was PERFECT, so much so that I ate most of it still parked outside. Jerk chicken rasta pasta w/a side of garlic sautéed spinach*… BOOM

Healthy Jamaican food on the Bronx. The drinks are made to order. The food is cooked fresh and you are treated right. I think they have a winner formula here. Did I mention snapper and salmon were awesome.

I was here for a repast after a funeral. they are completely unprofessional, this was prearranged and yet they are were not ready with the food, the drinks, the chairs for the guests, etc. it had been over an hour and nothing is progressing. Terrible service, they didn’t even have tea for us. I was sitting here hungry, if they couldn’t handle this large volume of people, they should have never accepted the job. Don’t Come Home!!!

Delicious food. My family always orders the Rasta Pasta– Penne a la vodka w/chicken and shrimp. I highly recommend the Boston wrap as well. This review is based on the food. I would give it’s delivery a ¾. But I tend to do take out either way. If you’re going for a salad try the Cobb Salad. I love the mango bits. The staff is super friendly. I never sat down in the 2nd room. Never dined in.

Food orders at fresh and made to order so do not go and expect fast food. Great cooking takes time. Mainly Jamaican/Caribbean food. Real healthy and clean. Only complaint is that the phone ordering can be better. Sometimes I dread who I get when I call in an order.

So I’m writing this as I pass the 2 hour mark waiting on my delivery. Sadly, I can’t say that this is the first time that this has happened which is why they lost 2 stars. I live 3 minutes away and am left to starve because there is, more often than not, a glitch in their system or incomplete processing from grubhub. That being said, the food is really good. I’ve sampled a few dishes, the jerk salmon being my favorite. I love that their menu is more diverse than the surrounding restaurants and the presentation is great. Although I complained, I’ll continue to return but it will be takeout in the future… I started at 3 stars but after another 30 minutes of waiting and still no food, I’ve decided on 2 stars. This is just unreal and definitely something that needs to be rectified.

This place deserves –5 stars because the food was that bad! I use to follow this restaurant on instagram and my mouth would water just from pictures of what was being served that day. One day a couple of months ago I decided it was time to try this mouth watering food, only to find that it was closed during normal business hours. I then realized this weekend that I haven’t seen any post on instagram from them until this weekend my sister mentioned that she follows them on ig. I realized that the have a new account on ig and the pictures of the food looked OK, so we decided to go finally try it out. We ordered the«famous«salmon wrap, jerk chicken /shrimp combo with rice and peas, jerk chicken with mashed sweet potato, and their pepper shrimp. The best tasting thing out of everything we ordered was the mashed sweet potato. The jerk chicken was bland bake chicken. The rice and peas was like a mouth full of rocks. The jerk shrimp was salty as sh#t. The salmon wrap had no flavor what so ever. Then the pepper shrimp was not your traditional Jamaican pepper shrimp. They were about six small shrimp without the head and shell with some kind of blackened Louisiana seasoning, on top of thinly sliced pickled cucumbers. I gag as I think about that cucumber now! To top it all off the cashier was in the back cutting up fruits and veggies for a customer who ordered a smoothie, and the carrot drops on the ground under her work station and shrimp picks it up from off the ground without throwing it away or washing it, and proceeds to used it the smoothie! So $ 48 later I am highly disappointed. This place must have really changed owners. That’s the only explanation I can find to justify this nastiness! I really wanted to love this place but there’s no love coming out of these dishes. So sad.

So so good. Had the grilled shrimp salad, smoothie, and jerk chicken wrap. My first time ordering, and I was really impressed with how great everything tasted. The salad had tons of char-grilled shrimp and was a little spicy. Yum. The sesame ginger dressing was amazing. Although they forgot to deliver my smoothie the first time, they brought it back to me in a timely manner. Great service, great food. Will most definitely order again.
