I’ve always wondered the name of this place. I refer to it and have it saved in my phone as «The Bodega.» It’s a great little store that I frequent multiple times a week. The guys that work there are friendly and like to jam out to some catchy samba style tunes, which always puts me in a good mood. Due to my constant visits, they now let me call my order ahead, which helps when I only have a brief 45 minute break from teaching at a school down the street. The best thing about this store is the prices! I’m a pescatarian, so I don’t have a ton of options. I always get tuna fish with swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomato on a roll. They crack open a tuna can and mix it up right in front of you! I also grab a bag of plantain chips and a soda. This always totals to around $ 4.50, and then I am full for the rest of the day… I mean these are some hearty sandwiches. Other recommendations are the coffee(say not too much sugar), breakfast sandwiches, and I know my friends say grilled meat sandwiches with melted cheese are the best.
