Forest Park, IL
Definitely the place to eat if you are eating in Brookfield Zoo. The prices are not that much more expensive and it is much more interesting than eating in the food court. Plus, the food is good and the views are amazing. Go in the summer when they are open later.

My daughter and I just attended a Christmas party here. The food was very basic but good — pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes, winter vegetables, salads, the typical cold weather comfort fare. The space was very appealing. Lots of folk art of animals, knotty pine tables, and floor-​to-​ceiling windows on one side of the long room for a view of the icy outdoors. Very pretty.
