The atmosphere will never be as real or genuine compared to a Chick-fil-a down south. The workers obviously have a script they follow and the kindness isn’t genuine, you know they’re made to say«my pleasure». Just be nice in general. Besides that, the food is obviously delicious, not a fast food person but every now and then a classic chikin sandwich wont hurt. Oh, and the chocolate chunk cookies are amazing!

Love, love Chick-fil-a ! The food is so good. They now have fish on Fridays perfect for lent. The cashier, Rhianon, was so nice and cheerful. She made us feel so welcome. My husband and I come here whenever we are in the neighborhood. They also have delicious breakfast. They are so welcoming. I had a cookie for desert still warm from the oven! Yum

This is the closest location to my town, but it took a forty minute drive to get here. As I figured it would be, it was well worth the jaunt. The parking lot was jam-packed and the drive-thru line was lengthy; full of folks who know what great fast food tastes like(although this doesn’t feel like a fast food joint). I waited on the drive-thru line and when I pulled up to the window, I was greeted by one of Chick-fil-A’s incredibly pleasant staff members — their customer service is some of the best I’ve ever experienced. The meal was exactly what I expected. The three crispy, succulent chicken sandwiches that I wolfed down in my truck in the parking lot had my tastebuds ready to leap out from my tongue, go into the restaurant and high-five everyone who worked there. Amazing. Note: Chick-fil-A makes me a very happy man. Please, someone open one near me!

Came in with a large work group. We were served in a extremely reasonable fashion. Every worker was extremely pleasant and helpful. Great meal with a smile. No complaints.

Needed a Zaxby’s or ChickfilA in the area, finally got a CfA! No casual visits here, the store didn’t invest in the leading green arrow upgrade to the entrance for the Northbound side. We give up on more than half our attempts to visit and dine. Parking lot is cramped with close calls for fights and collisions to get into the limited parking spaces. Watch for kids darting out from between cars. Inside, there is a line to order. Menu is kind of small and high up on the wall, it takes a while to pan the offers and figure out the selections. Then off to your table to await delivery of your food. Sandwiches are pretty good. Wife enjoys her salads. Chicken strips are good, but the sauces are a bit lackluster. Waffle fries taste reasonably healthy, but don’t have cravey wild flavor. Ordered a wrap on my most recent visit, was disappointed with it’s size and reduced value. Probably best left for a late evening snack, beyond the crowd. Staff is friendly and hard working. Usually tables are clean and always manage to find one no matter how crowded. Closed on Sundays. Not cheap, but if you want pretty healthy food, healthy serving quantities and food that isn’t salted to create flavor out of nothing, it’s a safe haven.

Always a pleasant experience at Chick-Fil-A, to me it doesn’t even feel or taste like fast food. Friendly team members, great chicken sandwiches and most importantly a very clean establishment. Worth trying! P. S. I once saw a team member sprint after a car! A customer left before he got the rest of his meal at the drive-through. Thats what I call customer service!

Without a doubt the best chicken sandwich in Connecticut. Great customer service, clean environment and a great place for the family. Excellent prices and the food is always fresh.

Just picked up my food and when I got home I noticed they had forgotten my 4 piece chicken tenders which really was disappointing so I called them to let them know, they told me that they could either give me credit for next time or I can just pick them up which isn’t a big deal so my girlfriend decided to just pick them up so I told the lady that she’s on her way to pick them up and mind you we live about 10 min away which would be plenty of time to fry up some tenders I know this because I work in the food industry myself so I get a message from my girlfriend saying she got there and the tenders weren’t even ready apparently they had given them to a drive thru customer instead after waiting 10 min they realiZed they have the tenders away and had to throw another order in. Very disappointed with the service

Excellent service, great sandwich and frys. Reasonable pricing. Only gripe is too much salt on chicken sandwich. Hope somebody at CF-A reads these and adjust to receipe its real close to perfdct chic sandwich.

I don’t get it. Why are there always lines around the block? Fast food chicken sandwich. OK. So? Slightly better than the others. A kind of salty sweet brined flavor. Fries fresh by not notable. But the lines don’t quit. I must be missing something because it clearly has some odd cult– like appeal.

4 stars compared to other Fast-food places. Cannot go wrong with the chicken — it requires no introduction or comment. I am keeping politics out of the review as that would not really be fair to the workers here. They train their people very well. You will never get service like this at a fast food place. They bring your food to your table if you are dining in. I have had the same person bring me my order twice — she pronounces my name Zatch as in Hatch or Patch(I am sure they type it in the system as Zach). «Zatch. Zatch…» Amusing. But on a serious note, although its nothing like the legendary stories about Starbucks, I have seen them walking around looking for people, saying the strangest names: «Falala… Falala… Dashin… Dashin…» Brookfield just isn’t that multicultural. If you ask for coffee, some go out of their way to make it for you. Others point you to the condiments bar. It should be the same — one or the other– to better manage expectations. The manager runs the place well and seems to know many of his customers well.

Great chicken sandwiches served with pickles are classic. Amazing milkshakes too. The drive-through line is always packed and so is the parking lot.

Best REAL chicken nuggets ever and the Polynesian sauce is the best. I am not fond of the chicken sandwiches as I always find them to be too oily for my taste. Love their lemonade and waffle cut fries. Always friendly and personable through the drive-thru, seems less so inside walk up.

It is just a chicken sandwich people, not a burger, not pizza, not even wings. It can not really be worth the trip driving from your po dunk town into mine. Coming from out of town, you have to wait a eternity to turn left at the light just to wait forever in the drive thru. We all know what they do to you at the drive thru. Most of us have places to go on a weekend, sitting in traffic on Federal Rd. can’t be on the list. I’m sure you will pass about 75 McDonalds on the way to Chick-fil-a from wherever the hell you live. Do yourself and the rest of us a favor and grab a perfectly mediocre chicken sandwich there. Why do I have to leave a half hour early to get my kid to soccer practice that is only 10 min away? A freakin Chicken sandwich? Insane.

The grilled chicken sandwich and market salad were good but a bit pricey. The fries were undercooked. The soda was 2⁄3 ice. Getting in across Federal Road is a nightmare on a Saturday afternoon.

First off, I am giving this a 4 star compared to fast food places not to restaurants overall. I don’t eat at too many of the traditional fast food pink slime burger joints anymore but a nice chicken sandwich did call out to me the other day so I stopped by the new Brookfield location. Going through the two lane drive up was easy and quick considering the number of cars in line. Order was correct I got the #2 combo, basically fried chicken sandwich plus cheese lettuce and tomato with chips and drink. The bun was rather typical for fast food burger place, veggies were nice and fresh, the chicken was a real chicken breast not the particle board you get at a lot of places. The fries are waffle style which is a nice break and very tasty. I try not to make this kind of food a regular part of my diet but if I’m ever in need of a quick fast food fix this place will now be on my list.

I try straying away from reviewing and eating at fast food joints, but since Chick-fil-A just opened five minutes away from my house and everybody and their brother was talking about it, I caved. First off, physically getting to the parking lot was a train wreck in itself. I was driving up Federal road, so ultimately I’d have to turn left into the parking lot for Chick-fil-A when the time came. That wasn’t happening. The left lane was so congested and backed up, that only one car seemed to be taking a left into the parking lot every green light. I didn’t want to wait that long, remembered I had legs, pulled into a different lot on the left to avoid all of the frustration, and ended up walking from there. I don’t know if I can totally place the blame on Chick-fil-A for this, but backing up traffic on a main road just for a fast food joint? That’s nuts. I got to the door and had to wait another 10 minutes or so, which was fine since I’ve only been to a Chick-fil-A once prior and honestly had no idea what I’d be in the mood for. Once I got to the front to place my order, my cashier was super friendly and even introduced himself to me by name. I ended up with the spicy chicken deluxe with bacon, along with waffle fries, since I figured I’d get the whole experience. The restaurant was packed, so I got it to-go and had to wait in between the seating area and the cashiers for someone to come out and give me my food. I really didn’t wait long either, maybe about 5 – 10 minutes? The sandwich was solid and chicken was especially spicy, which is a plus on my end. The fries were good, but thought they were a little to salty for my taste. Other than that, I thought Chick-fil-A was decent. I’m curious how their breakfast is, but I probably won’t be stopping in that often due to it being a fast food chain.

The cathedral of chicken sandwiches comes to Connecticut! We’ve enjoyed Chick-fil-A on road trips through Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland and now we can enjoy the slow go of a drive-thru on Federal Road. Try the original sandwich and the lemonade for your initial immersion!

I don’t eat much fast food, but wanted to try this since people seem to go so crazy for it. The drive-thru was very busy, one of the newer systems where there are two order bays, and then the cars file into one line to pull up to the window. Service was courteous and polite, but my order was completely wrong. I ordered a regular chicken sandwich meal and a chicken strips meal. I was rushed through the busy drive thru line and when I got to my friend’s house, we wound up with two spicy chicken sandwiches and one order of fries. I know; I should have checked the bag before pulling away, but the line was so long I didn’t want to take too much time. Plus, my receipt was correct, so I didn’t bother… but clearly, I should have. Still. The chicken sandwiches were okay… not any better or worse than any other fast food chicken sandwich I’ve had. As I said, I don’t eat much fast food, but from my experience, I think Arby’s chicken sandwiches are better. Fries were good, wish we hadn’t had to share. The best thing I had was their sweet tea. Not impressed enough to go back any time soon.

FIRST! 10.9.14! Congrats on the opening and looking forward to many visits. No review necessary… if you’ve been to any of the many Chick-fil-A’s around the country, you know the deal. Locally, I think there are three types of people: 1. Those who are fully familiar with Chick-fil-A and treat it with cult-like status. 2. Those who aren’t familiar yet, but are about to become rabid fans. 3. Those who do not and will not get it. For those people I say, you’ve just got to make peace with the fact that your blessed strip of Federal Road will never be the same. Brookfield will never be the same. People, this is an epic event. Nobody gets excited when a Panera or Arby’s comes to town. This is something entirely next-level. Deal with it. First Selectman Tinsley, do the right thing and make October 9th a Brookfield holiday to honor this momentous event. PS-no more trips to the Paramus Mall… now we got what we need right in our backyard!
