Closed on Sundays. Left early to get breakfast before work and three other people arrived at the same time. We were all surprised to see that it was closed. Really cute atmosphere. Good food and smoothies.

The atmosphere is cozy and simple, the food was really good although a little skimpy, the prices made sense, but the people who worked there seemed sad and/or disinterested. It made me feel bummed out. Still, a nice place.

I like the local coffee shop vibe and good coffee. Good prices and good service. Nothing spectacular here but solid.

Always a pleasant staff, greeted with a smile and hello every time I come. They take their time to make sure you get exactly what you want. Great coffee! I love that their coffee is kept chilled so that your iced coffee/tea isn’t completely ice.

Great coffee and great food. Egg sandwiches are generous and their Greek wrap is delicious(the chicken salad is wonderful too). If you like juice try the refresher juice! It’s my favorite one. Also the staff is very friendly and they let you stay for as long as you like. Five stars!

I never realized Jesters existed, but then again, I’m never that far down Federal Road to really go hunting for anything. My coworker and I stopped here on the way back to the office since any local coffee joint is better than Starbucks on any given day, at least in my book. Jesters is very small, but still very roomy inside. The décor is homey and the back end of it even looks like you’d see it in someone’s house, especially with the cabinets that they readily use to store ingredients. The seating is minimal, but very welcoming. There were two women working, one ran the counter while the second used a griddle behind the counter to cook up things like eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, etc. Did I mention this place smelled amazing? Since the«kitchen» isn’t cut off from the seating area, the whole place just smelled like breakfast. I wish I was hungry enough to get a bacon, egg, and cheese and watch it be grilled in the meantime. We both ordered our separate drinks and paid less for both than what you would pay for one drink at Starbucks(we honestly could have gotten a third and it still would have been under the price limit). The iced coffee wasn’t bad, although I did find it bitter after a while, which is usually alright since I can deal with it. My coworker said the same thing about his double shot espresso, but enjoyed it as well. Great cozy place to stop by if you’re traveling up Federal Road through Brookfield.

This is the coffee shop that Brookfield has been waiting for! My sister introduced me to this place a couple of days ago. I’ve been visiting my parents here for years, and while the others are fine, this place is great! They have a really nice espresso bean. I’ve interacted with four different staff members and all have been great(especially Meg). There’s not a lot of room to sit, but there’s enough, and it seems like they do a lot of takeaway business. I didn’t get to try the smoothies, but from what I could see the ingredients are all fresh and high-quality. Based on the menu, this place is kind of like a Jamba Juice combined with a great local coffee shop. They offer free Wi-Fi with a strong signal, which seems to be more and more important these days. If you are in Brookfield and need coffee, a healthy smoothie or a nice lunch, this is the place to be!

My favorite place for Bacon Egg and Cheese Sandwiches. Lean bacon, buttery fresh rolls. Great service. Pleasant décor and music. A real gem!

The staff is super friendly. My Americano was delicious. I was told the double espresso was very good — but small. Casual atmosphere with comfortable seats. Great little place for a quiet afternoon coffee with a friend

I was very excited to test out Jesters in Brookfield/Danbury area. It is easy to get to, private parking, clean. That is about all I can say that I liked. Wait, the service staff was very happy and courteous. That was another good thing. Other than that, I left feeling«empty». The coffee was weak. Very weak. Tasted like warm coffee water. No flavor. I tried to figure out what kind of coffee they used and I wasn’t able to figure out what beans they used. Store bought? Local roaster? All I saw was the generic menu and bumper sticker for the«Patch». Décor was not inviting at all — I heard there was a comic book theme, expected cool furniture and funky vibe. Instead — it seemed very hollow. Large conference room table made me feel like office meetings were held there and the coffee shop was an afterthought. The another seat was a small table right in front of the register or a larger table over to the side. We sat in the chairs on the side and they didn’t really fit with the table(which was the coolest thing in the place). I know I shouldn’t focus so much on décor but I could *almost* forgive a bad cup of coffee if there was a place to hang and relax that felt fun. This was sterile and uncomfortable. Stiff chairs, pergo floors. Made me feel like I was in a bad office break room. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu. I will try again just so I am not giving a horrible review and not giving it the benefit of the doubt. I can forgive a poorly made cup of coffee it was just a bad brew — but I don’t think that was the case. Everything else was as empty and flavorless as the coffee. I’ll check in again after I go back next week.

Coffee is good and the staff is very nice, but the seating needs to be changed if they want to entice more people to stay and eat/hang out/drink more coffee. They have a big conference table in the front room and a couple of seats in the back. Customers would like comfy couches and small tables a lot better.

I go there a lot for coffee. The staff are great. One of the few places around that have a selection of hand fruit for purchase. The bottled water is less than a buck! I would love to see a fresh juice selection for sale. Apple Carrot Ginger Rules! My other recommendation is to move the counter against the right wall instead of in the back right. Ditch the big conference table and throw a ton of cushy chairs all over the place. get rid of the wall behind the confrence table. Finally, shadeify! When is the next open mic nite?

Another place I had driven by for ages without stopping in. Attended a meeting here last week. Great coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Haven’t tried lunch yet but have designated this as our coffee shop for meetings and work from now on when in the area. Very clean, with comfortable chairs. They have a huge table for hosting a larger group or meeting. Free wifi. Washroom spotless. Large selection of magazines and comics.

their coffee is so good. i’ve tried their sandwiches for lunch, they’re pretty good. a little more gourmet-ish than some of the local delis. haven’t tried the breakfast sandwiches. while i’ve never sat down inside, it looks comfortable, quite a bit different than starbucks. a good selection of teas. they get their teas from a local place in brookfield. the iced tea is excellent.

I am always looking for a good coffee place, so I searched for places near the Danbury Mall to stop at. The menu sounded promising(any place that offers a french press cup is promising to me), so we decided to check it out. The location is right on the main road and the building itself is small, but cute. The owners were very friendly and helpful when it came to the menu, which includes«frappes» and all the usual coffee and espresso drinks. I had an iced latte which was pretty good. The main room included a couple of tables and a rack of classic comics which I thought was pretty cool. Overall, a nice place that could use some more business!

I was in town visiting friends for the week but needed a good place to work each morning. I stumbled on Jesters Coffee and found it had everything I was looking for. First, they have the«standard» coffee drinks but they also have a 30oz French Press if you are staying to enjoy it. While I consumed the whole thing, it is probably meant to be shared with a friend. :) Their regularly brewed coffee is smooth and a lot better than what Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts calls coffee. Why is DnD so popular in New England anyway? For breakfast, they have nice hand made items including a bagel w/cream cheese and a ham & egg sandwich on an english muffin. Both were good. At lunch, I stayed one day to try the tomato & mozzarella on cibata bread sandwich. I absolutely love and recommend that sandwich. All sandwiches are made fresh while you wait. Some old ladies had the chicken salad sandwich and complemented the owner on it as well. The price was around $ 5 for a sandwich which is a bargain for real, fresh food. Free wifi and every employee I interacted with was nice and helpful. I reserve 5 stars for something truly unique and mind blowing. Jesters has everything I would expect from a coffee shop and it gets my highest rating of 4 stars for that.
