I was disappointed in the food quality of my takeaway order. I was traveling for work, so I ordered big to keep in the fridge as leftovers. The hot and sour soup had minimal flavor. I threw it out. The egg rolls were huge and just so so. The steamed pot stickers were very doughy as though they were made up early, then steamed. Plus, there was just too much thick dough. The house fried rice was inedible especially when reheating. I threw it away. I’m not sure if it’s the WI palette because typically restaurants cook to suit their patrons, or if this is their version of American Chinese, but I don’t recommend this restaurant unless they step up their game. I have full blooded Chinese in my family. This was a very sad representation of their cuisine.

Best crab Rangoon I’ve ever had. They forgot the veggies in my sweet and sour chicken… But the sauce wasn’t red with food coloring which I really love. The delivery was prompt and their delivery service uses square, which makes me feel secure about my purchase. Would definitely order again.

Delicious! :) I am in Brookfield on business and saw the Unilocal reviews. Egg roll was awesome as was the shrimp and broccoli. Will definitely be be back next time I’m in the area. They delivered right to my hotel room too :)

When we ordered the food it came out quickly which was great, then we got home. The food was nice and hot which is good but then we tried the food. It had no taste and no seasoning. The broccoli and beef had no flavor and the tofu was like eating soggy cardboard. I had an order of egg drop soup, that was like drinking a bowl of salt. I will not be going there to get my food anymore.

Although take-out service only, MINGS is definitely one of the best Chinese joints in Waukesha County. After trying similar restaurants as far away as Hwy 100, they hit the mark of Emperor’s Kitchen in flavor, freshness, & temperature. We found their friendly demeanor a big factor when ordering or asking questions about the food. Best dishes include: Singapore noodles, Kung Pao tofu and Broccoli in oyster sauce.

Great cantonese take-out Chinese food. Carry-out or delivery only. Had chicken and pea pods with lots of lean white meat chicken and HUGE chicken/shrimp egg rolls. I love the ability to order without MSG and delivery is super fast with abilty to pay via credit card using the square, My new favorite chinese restaurant in Brookfield.

Our«go-to» place for Chinese cuisine. The food is always outstanding, and the prices are extremely reasonable for the mounds of food you get for your buck. I hope they never move or go out of business… Best in town!

Ordered carry out from here once. The food was fair — we did not even finish the leftovers and ended up throwing them away. Expensive for what you get in terms of quality. I wish Fortune was in Brookfield.

This place excels at being what it is: a neighborhood chinese carryout place. Food is generic American chinese, always pretty good if not haute cuisine, and the prices are fair. I’m a fan of their lunches, for a buck or two more than Mickey D’s you can get better/healthier food.

Really pleased with Mings. FAST delivery. They take credit card with Square Reader at the door instead of the phone. I like when small business embraces technology. The food is made very well. I think this is pretty much the only Chinese place that delivers in Elm Grove /Brookfield. There are very good alternatives, but they don’t deliver. Because of that — I will continue to go to Mings. Simple and to the point review.

We ordered delivery here, and they were fast enough and has a really nice delivery guy, but the sesame chicken was terrible! It was weird and bland. The chicken low mein was good though. However the sizes were the smallest I’ve had at any Chinese restaurant, especially for the prices. We were very disappointed overall.

Had about a 14 orders of various selections of Vegetable, pork, chicken, beef and shrimp meals. Some noodle, rice and fried rice. To go along with egg rolls pot stickers tonight delivery was fast and food was plenty hot enough. Large Egg rolls were fried tempura style. Don’t ask me I’ve never see this way. The taste is original the cabbage was crisp and chicken tasted good even after two days. Smaller spring rolls were traditional. The pot stickers didn’t travel so well mushy I’m sure this is the type of app best had @ a restaurant. Those need to be cooked then served to plate. The moo shu pork was average and could of had more seasoning the wrappers were folded into quarters and had a tendency to crack meaning they were too dried out. Again some things just are not made for carry out. Lunch specials. Are $ 5.25−5.70 in other places a can of soda is included while here its an additional $ 1.05 Overall depending on what you order you could have a great or a lame meal. PS this whole order can be spiced to your taste. Ours was for a kids party so it was too bland for me. Food 3 Ambiance(take out) Service(delivery) 4 fast Location 4 Value 3

We ordered food here and will never do it again. Our food arrived 3 hours after we ordered it. The fried rice was misguided and filled with balls of salt. Everything was inedible. I wouldn’t feed it to my dog. I paid $ 65.00 for a meal that went straight into the garbage. Needless to say we won’t eat here again

Why oh why did you ruin my plans for ordering too much food and then proceeding to overeat? I suppose you didn’t ruin the first part, I did order way too much food, but the food just didn’t taste good and I couldn’t follow through with the overeating part. Lets go with a list… 1. Eggrolls. Yes I agree with the other reviews, they are big. But they just aren’t good. And why in the world are they made with a egg roll wrapper, then battered and fried? Redundant. They lacked flavor, even though they are filled to the brim with stuffing. I almost made the mistake of pouring the«plum sauce» on the eggroll, but after looking at it, I tried it and realized it tasted like a simple syrup mixed with a little fruit juice; yuck. 2. Hot and sour soup. It tastes okay — similar to a lot of other places. So nothing really bad or good to say here. 3. Crab rangoons. I personally hate sweet crab rangoons, and these were those. And where is the crab? They were sizeable pieces, but I didn’t get a single piece of crab in mine. I mean really, artificial crab isn’t that expensive. 4. Kung Pao Shrimp. Really? Why is it made with such a dark sauce? It had the wrong flavor altogether. Maybe if I ordered some sort of shrimp stir fry with a sauce, this is what I would get, but that’s not what was ordered. 5. Cantonese Beef Chow Mein. Disappointment in two boxes. The noodles were limp upon arrival, which I wouldn’t necessarily blame on them, possibly they got that way during the drive back to my place. The beef portion was the bigger disappointment. Bland sauce, bland flavor, it just didn’t taste like anything. 6. Singapore Noodles(with pork). The pork was dry. The noodles themselves weren’t that bad, just kinda boring. Nothing really great about this dish either. 7. Chicken in Garlic Sauce. Literally the only decent thing in this order. It tasted like it had a black bean sauce and it was properly seasoned. 8. Chicken Fried Rice. Our order was so large and we found a coupon on their website for a free quart of it. Well, it didn’t really taste like fried rice to me. More like rice, with chicken and soy sauce. Not cooked the way fried rice should be. So my verdict is pass on this place. Sure it’s cheap and you may get a lot of food for your dollar, but it’s just not good.

I have searched high and low for a GOOD Chinese place to eat. I randomly tried them one day at work, and boy was I surprised. Their egg rolls are the size of burritos, you get two, and they are the best around. There are sliced almonds in the Chicken Subgum. If you’re looking for some real Chinese food, I highly recommend Ming’s. It is NOT your fast food Chinese(i.e. Wong’s Wok), but there is no seating there. Delivery or Take-Out only. Prices are very reasonable($ 5 for lunch), and I will drive the 20 minutes out of my way if I want good Chinese food.

So when I think of Chinese food — the same processed /oily taste comes to mind. I was pleasantly surprised by this take out joint. Don’t get me wrong, the ambiance leaves much to be desired… eight chairs lined up on the wall — and a bubble gum machine. I went on a January weekday, and I don’t think the heat was even on… We ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, the Beef and Peapods and the eggrolls. Nessie was right, the egg rolls are HUGE — because they are homemade(not the same frozen ones you find everywhere else), right down to the irregularly cut cabbage on the inside. Easily the best egg rolls I’ve every had. I asked for my chicken mild, and it was perfect — just a little kick. The beef was excellent — very tender.

I don’t have big expectations for Chinese food in Milwaukee, let alone a suburb. Ordered take-away here. I got them to make Sweet and Sour tofu and General Tso’s Tofu(i.e. substituted tofu for chicken etc.) but asked for it spicy. Boy did they make it spicy. I like it hot, but all they did was dunk some red peppers in there. It was almost too hot to eat, but the General’s was a little too sweet for my taste so i didn’t eat too much of it. The egg rolls are HUGE. One is a good sized meal.
