I like this place. I can only go three stars simply because the micro-brew selection is small. HOWEVER, the guys that work there are always so friendly and up for a chat. Plus, it’s so close to my bank. Pick up cash, then get beer. Mmmm… beer. Basically, this place is a nice little corner liquor store and as long as you’re not looking for anything obscure, they fit the bill. They are a nice lot and I’m glad I found this nice little neighborhood place.

Your basic corner liquor store in Brookfield. Decent selection of beer and liquor. I do like the fact they redid the back and updated their wine offerings. It’s a nice upgrade to the store. The owner and staff are great. Always love chatting with them when I am in the store. I’ll stop in on my way home from work.

Decent place to pick up some brews. They even had a small selection of chips, which was perfect for me since I made a $hit load of guacamole and needed more chips. Their wine selection was pretty decent too. The guy working behind the counter was really friendly and spent time talking to us about the Bears. Parking is on the side walk outside the store, which feels strange and illegal. We’ll definitely be back.

Not a bad place to go pick up a case of beer for a football party. To be honest, my boyfriend and I head here because it’s so close to home. They have your basic selection of domestic and imports in the fridge and then some other different types of beer on the shelves. They also have liquor, soda and a pretty large section of wines. This place is a bit of a dive, but it gets the job done. We usually stop in before White Sox games and load up on a few tallboys. There are two guys that we typically see working at the place. One is super nice and the other is kind of a jerk. He talks down to people and has no time to help you find anything. I even called there once to inquire about a particular item and he was rude. But Mike is awesome. One time I didn’t realize I had no cash on me — their minimum for credit card use is $ 10. My purchase was at about $ 8. He ran it for me and called me sweetie. Helpful? Yes. Kinda creepy? Maybe. But I appreciated being able to pick up a 12-er without a hassle. I’ll remember cash next time. Oh, and the 12-er of Miller Lite was only $ 7.99. Good deal.
