This place is now shut down. Rumor has it, it shall be replaced by a Soup Shop, like Souper Jenny

Don’t let the outside fool you. Quality, healthy food. You will leave feeling full… and without the stomach ache! We arrived at 11am with a large soccer team group. They were only serving breakfast but told us the kitchen would make us lunch. Friendly service! Locally owned and Worth the stop if you are in the area!

0 friends 1 review 8÷16÷2014 This place is awesome! Healthy, good prices, and not to mention the food is really good! Chef chip knows how to treat a customer and doesn’t sacrifice his quality of food and friendliness in an attempt to pile people in and out as fast as possible… Needless to say the place does fill up and it’s no surprise as to why, high quality healthy food at affordable prices and at an incredible speed for homemade! I stop by every time I’m near by… My favorite… The wicked tuna sandwich!

We went Thursday morning… only customers at the time. 1 star is for service, 4 stars for the food; so i compromised for a 3. The woman who took our order didn’t ask if we wanted anything to drink, even waters. She seemed like she was rushing, but was most likely due to her distraction of being on her bluetooth and having a conversation while trying to take our order. Really? What would have happened if there were more customers, would she have screwed up the order? Food: Had the wild alaskan scramble without oil; nothing special, but their bread is amazing! My husband had southern fried rice which he really enjoyed.

Oh Brookhaven bistro how I love thee! Let me count the ways. 1) blackbean burger 2) chipotle sauce 3) all your smoothies 4) sweet potato taters 5) reasonable prices 6) excellent service and 7) friendly staff! This place is just simple, no frills yet wonderful and always satisfying. I always go back and have never been disappointed.

They now only have almond milk for their smoothies, y’all. So people allergic to nuts, avoid it :) I used to like their smoothies, but oh well.

This place was quirky and cute! It was next to an overpriced health food store(actually adjacent to… you can go through from one to the other) so I was expecting higher prices than we found. The prices were reasonable, but you didn’t get a lot of food for what you were paying. I got a chicken salad wrap with a side garden salad. The wrap was pretty good, but I think I would have liked a little more pizzazz in my chicken salad… some almonds or walnuts would have made a huge impact! My side salad was smaaaallll and came with some kind of «goddess dressing» which seemed to be homemade. It was tasty. I appreciated that they used high quality greens in the salad and put a variety of vegetables in. My friends both got Greek salads with added chicken… their salads were so small! We all agreed we would be hungry again in an hour. True to form I dug into some cookies and cream ice cream when I got home. While we were waiting for the waiter to take our order at the counter, he was making some smoothies. He let us try one(the honey bee) and it was really good! If I go again I will definitely get one of those instead. Everything on the menu at Brookhaven Bistro seemed super healthy and fresh, so if you’re looking for a light lunch this could be a good spot for you to check out. I’ll definitely go back again… just maybe not after spending the day hiking Stone Mountain and forgetting to eat lunch until 3PM ;)

No, seriously. This food is really good and these guys are SUPER nice. I’ve lived around here and never knew this place was here. Get the omellette with spinach/mushroom/onion/tomato/feta. Those eggs are so fresh. And I’m digging the music they play. Don’t even need my headphones. I’ll definitely be back.

I went in one morning to get a breakfast to take it to work, I said«hi» to the new guy at the cash register. Well, he said he did not hear me say«hi» to him, and he wants me to say«hi» to him again and apologize to him that I did not properly greet him. So I told him that I don’t want to say«hi» to him again and I’m not going to apologize to him about it. He said to me that he is not going to serve me. So I smiled and gave him what I had in my hand and walked out of the store. (((Now you need to know that this guy is not the Chef Chip, a new guy I’ve never seen him before, Chef Chip is a laid back nice guy))) I’ve sent email to Chip about this incident but he never replied back, the restaurant owes me 2 meals but I will not be going back to this crazy place again.

In a nutshell, Brookhaven offers a healthy, fresh, and delicious meal! Thanks for the tip off, Unilocal!Holla! I had the classic breakfast(2 free range eggs, turkey sausage, and hash browns) and added a side of fruit. The hash browns were seasoned with rosemary, and everything tasted great! I was blown away by how delicious the peanut butter cup protein smoothie was and haven’t stopped thinking about it all day. According to the menu, it was just freshly ground pb, bananas, protein powder, and chocolate soy milk. Genius! The staffer confirmed it was the most popular smoothie and cautioned me it had the most calories of the options, which went in one ear and out the other. Love it! Can’t wait to come back! P. S. Pick up a frequent buyer punch card. You get a punch for every $ 7 spent, and once the card’s full, you cash in on a free lunch! Booyah!

Living in Brookhaven has its many perks, and Brookhaven Bistro is definitely one of them. I have been here for breakfast twice and lunch on one occasion, and thoroughly enjoyed all 3 visits. The staff are amicable, and tend to give off a hip/cool vibe. Even though the place is small the ambience is quite good. The food is quite healthy, at least by US standards. The salmon quesadilla is just amazing. I would have no problem ordering the breakfast burrito and the southwest scrambler again.

It’s great to have a place serving good, healthy food in the area. The beans and rice are just so flavorful and tasty! Next time, I will try them topped with veggies. The sweet potato planks are super awesome! The tilapia tacos are really flavorful and tasty with just the perfect amount of filling. They have a really great selection of juices that are made to order to keep your body nourished. They are addicting! I love the Garden Nectar and if feeling down, I will order a Tonic shooter on the side.

Brookhaven Bistro is attached to Nuts & Berries health food store. They serve good & good-for-you food/drinks :) WIN-WIN! You can pay via LevelUp, which is another + point for me. ~ Garden Nectar juice(carrot, kale, celery, beet, ginger, cucumber) very earthy… so order at your own risk lol I personally liked it ~ Peanut Butter Cup(fresh-ground peanut butter, banana, chocolate soy milk, Spirutein protein powder) — yummyyyy! ~ Veggie Wrap(hummus, baby spinach, carrots, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, avocado, Goddess dressing) so delicious and filling! ~ Turkey Burrito(wrapped in a tomato-basil tortilla stuffed with lettuce, tomatoes, beans, rice, and Jack cheese) — I did not try this but my bf really enjoyed it and he’s not a healthy-food type of guy I believe on December 1st they are doing a breakfast buffet($ 10/person) I will be there!

It is a little hard to find this place, since there is no sign. Just know that it is attached to the Nuts n’ Berries store. I lived in Brookhaven for 12 years. I don’t have very fond memories of Nuts n’ Berries. Prices were outrageous and health inspection reports were often terrible about 10 years ago. I took a chance and had a very early dinner with a friend. The restaurant closes at 7. I had salmon quesadillas and my friend had black beans and rice with grilled chicken. Other than being a little overcooked, my quesadilla was wonderful. My friend’s black beans and rice was outstanding. We both had tea. The total for both meals was $ 20. Portions are large, so we had enough food to make another meal. Service was exceptionally friendly.

Came in during lunch hours on a Thursday, and was greeted with a smile. The place is clean, friendly, and healthy! My friend and I(with baby in stroller) had a lovely lunch of blackened tilapia tacos and their turkey burger(with turkey bacon). Everything was fresh, healthy, and TASTY. There was no lack of seasoning, nor deliciousness, even though it was gluten-free. We left feeling good and full :) Highly recommend for lunch. Apparently their smoothies are great. They have a cute little patio, but given the heat, we opted for the indoors. Also — it’s attached to a health food store/vitamin place, so you can bring the healthy home with you.

Horrible service! I have been there a handful of times and each time the wait takes forever. I ordered a smoothie 2 of these times and each time it took over 20 min. to get it. The employee kept getting the order wrong and the manager was there and did nothing about it. Super annoyed. Never going back again.

I live in Brookhaven and never knew this place existed until I saw a Groupon for it. I’m glad I bought the Groupon because I’m really impressed by this place. The owner Chip often takes your order and will give you suggestions. I absolutely love the Israeli pita bread here– they make it fresh. I’ve had a lot of pita in my life and never realized how good pita bread can be. I typically get it with the chicken salad, which is very good. On Wednesdays, they do falafel, which is also terrific. I’d call before going though because the falafel is a hot item and often sells out. While waiting for your order, you can go to the attached health food store(Nuts N Berries).

So far I’ve only had the salmon quesadilla. It was absolutely delicious! I like this little place. It’s nice to be able to go somewhere to go fast, tasty wholesome food. And organic! If you order the salmon quesadilla, make sure to ask for the chipotle dipping sauce. It doesn’t come on the side, but it’s delicious with it. and they’ll give it to you for free.

Tucked away behind«Nuts & Berries» Health Food Store on Peachtree Rd. NE is a little culinary treasure, «The Brookhaven Bistro». I’m always very concerned when eating at a restaurant that emphasizes natural, holistic, organic or anything else that makes me think that an old bra-less, tank top wearin, hippie woman with armpit hair might be making my sandwich. I was relieved when Chip, the owner a clean cut, polite, professional guy greeted me and I saw how clean and organized his place was. There were some samples of some type of unfamiliar legume with Cherry tomatoes and dressing mixed in that was sitting in Dixie cups on a tray at the register, picked it up, sniffed it, looked back in the kitchen one last time for the hippie woman then emptied the contents of the Dixie cup into my mouth, delicious! I ordered the Domestic Farm Raised Tilapia & Black-bean Tacos and the Tutti-Fruity Salad. Let me try to explain this Salad, fresh Spinach, Walnuts, Fresh Strawberries, sliced Bananas, Feta Cheese and Poppy seed Dressing sound like an odd combination, they’re not, they’re incredible. My lunch was so good I went back the following morning for a Breakfast Burrito and a Large Freshly pressed Carrot and Ginger, Juice, Niiice!
