Super cool beach with lots and lots of fun rocks… I would have given it 5 stars but unfortunately there was trash everywhere… so sad that people would trash such a beautiful place :(

Favorite beach in Brookings hands down! Love this beach and all its rocks and tiny pebbles! Always finding the neatest treasures on this beach and the dog park is there too! Definitely not a great place for high tide, low tides and minus tides are fun, reveals a whole new world as you get to see wuite4 a bit of rock thats usually part of the ocean floor!

Awesome beach! Quiet beautiful beach! It is not sandy, has small pebbles. Perfect for beach combing– we found sea glass and agates. Very serene and relaxing. It is off the beaten path but easy to find.

What a fabulous dog-friendly gem. You can take your dogs for a romp on a rather secluded beach or take them to the 1+ acre fenced in dog park. It’s quite a drive from 101 to this park so there were hardly any people.

We happened across this dog friendly gem by accident and it was a great find. First there’s a beautiful, dog friendly beach. It’s certainly off the beaten path and during our time here only saw three other people and only one other dog. And they were pretty far away. The beach is a little unusual if you’re not from the area and is made of this very small(most pieces were 1⁄16th to ¼ inch) smooth rocks. It was really nice to walk on. Right along the waterline are very jagged rocks that look pretty hard to walk on, so it’s probably not the best beach to plan on going for a swim. Besides the water is cold. There’s plenty of driftwood and larger rocks to check out. The path from the park is a little steep and it could be a little slick when it gets wet. The walk up and down the hill is worth it. If you don’t feel like taking your dog down to the beach there’s also a large fenced in dog park on the other side of the parking lot. It’s pretty bad, but we didn’t see this at first because we thought the beach was so cool. We saw more people and dogs in the enclosed dog area than we did on the beach. If we’re in the area again we’d definitely go back.
