Grano Neapolitan Pizza

Great food ! Great service ! This is my go to pizza place! i always order from here ! Frozen yoghurt was brilliant !

FIRST OFF. I can admit that my husband and I made a mistake ordering pizza at 1:30am. We had already been up all night binge watching Netflix and were tired and hungry. I ordered a pizza and they said it would be an hour until it can be delivered. We said okay cool we can wait for pizza. Well. we fell asleep. I awoke the next morning wondering where my pizza was (I had thought my husband ate the whole thing!) He said he also fell asleep! Bummer right? Well I called them to apologize for falling asleep last night and if they could void the charge for me. The guy then began to berate me and tell me that its his money and he paid for the driver to come out and deliver and that he gets charged $ 2 for every card swipe etc etc. We get it. We made a mistake. He THEN tried to tell me that the driver left the pizza on my doorstep with the receipt and left. LIES LIES LIES. First of all, your driver should have rang the bell. We had just fallen asleep and would have woken up if it was rung (our bell could wake the neighbors!). He then told me that the guy didn’t know WHICH bell to ring. WE LIVE IN A ONE FAMILY HOUSE. There is one bell! Also, the driver did not leave the pizza with us because it would have been there the next morning. We live on a street where it mostly ages 40+ and they would have all been asleep (no pizza snatching neighbors here). I am just so outraged by the way this man tried to handle this situation. I will never return to this place. Also, our porch camera showed your pizza guy taking my pizza. lol

Grano’s is fantastic ! Their thin crust neapolitan pizza is one of the best I have had. Most pizza places take the easy route of standard toppings like pepperoni, hawaiian + the totally fake alfredo. However, a few discerning joints like Grano’s give you varietals such as pesto. Now, a place that has pesto has some serious class, even if it is just a take-​out hole in the wall. Grano’s is a place that deserves respect and reverence. Their delivery can be a bit erratic so plan on picking up and you will have nothing to complain. Did I say the people who run it are supernice?

Well… It said 205 for a while then it was between 215 and 225 and now I’m waiting. So I called and I got an answer from a gentleman who instantly gaurunteed my order was on my way without me telling him of my order… I’m waiting now and will tell you when my order arrives. Oh and I placed my order at 120 to note the time it took. Pretty sad. I mean I’m from CT where pizza is pretty darn good and this is sad. Embarrassed to spend 14 dollars on a pie that took an hour to deliver. This place DESERVES a rating like this. I never rate locations because the are efficient, professional, and courteous. But this pizza joint is a joke. And I hope you never order from here. Still waiting… … … I called again and he said in any minute he will finally arrived 236

Normal places charge extra for Bacon. I was expecting that when I ordered the Broc/​Chicken/​Alfredo Calzone. I was worried when I couldnt modify the pizza. Perhaps an issue with foodler? However I put in a special request.
This request for bacon was made and for no extra charge. I just wanted to say I am extremly happy with the service and attention to detail you all put forward.

Don’t order from here. Bland airplane food. Ordered delivery on grub hub. Delivery person had a ton of trouble finding me. Was on a campus location at BC but 4 other companies found me no problem in previous orders.
Food: Gave a me a warm diet coke and the salad was airplane salad. Pre-​boxed days ago. Slapped some badly cooked steak tips on top.
Life… 17 dollars gone forever. (delivery fees and tip included)

Ordered from here last night for the first time. Veggie pizza was great. Thin and hot with ample cheese. May now be my go-​to spot as I live just down the street.

I think this is the first true 5-​star review I’ve ever given out. The order arrived free of delivery charge by dashed in what seemed like 10 seconds. Pizza was hot and perfect, huge cheesy thin slices that weren’t falling apart in any way. I feel like I’m going to cry, not because of the pizza I’m just having an off day :/​. Anyways, where was I? Oh yeah, they have focaccia fries and my god why hasn’t steak fries with focaccia seasoning mingled in my mouth before? I also ordered mozzarella sticks because I hate myself and their tomato dipping sauce was good enough to rip shots of. If you’re an employee at this restaurant just know I’m going to be thinking about you when I touch myself tonight.

I only recently discovered Grano but have already ordered from them a few times. Love their pizzas and their thinner crust. The Hawaiian and white pizzas are amazing. Their skinny fries and chicken fingers are good as well.

I ordered a cheeseburger, skinny fries, chocolate frozen yogurt, and a mixed berry smoothie. Everything was DELICIOUS and delivered in under a half an hour! Will definitely order again

Just moved back to Brookline and needed something delivered fast. Grano’s delivered delicious hot pizza quicker than the estimated time. The pizza really hit the spot and the service was great! Will be ordering again.

Good thing i got only 2 slice here and nothin else. When i opened the bag it was cheese cheesy paper plates. The cheese completly fell off the pizza and was glued to the plates. Just had paper thin crust with sauce on it. I was thinkin bout eating the cheese of the plate but when i peeled it off it peeled the inner of the plate with it. Ive been depressed all day bout it imagining if i got a sub there would it just be a mayo sandwich at the end? If you like eating paper plates though check these guys out

I ordered the buffalo chicken hot sub. It might have been stray cat, squirrel, but it sure was not chicken! the sub was mostly onion with some chewy black meat.

Super fast pick-​up time for take-​out. The guy on the phone kept asking me «how many people are eating?» He asked my fiancée who picked up the food the same thing, but didn’t clarify why he was asking. It was very odd! Overall, good pizza. Not too greasy and very thin. If you are into thick, juicy, dripping pizza, this isn’t your place. But, we are into eating healthy and this place is great for pizza without the guilt. :)

I arrived at East Coast Divers an hour early thinking that I would run into a lot of traffic there but luckily this wasn’t the case. Being the persistently hungry individual that I am, I was looking for somewhere nearby that would give me quick tasty foods before my 7pm class.
So here I was driving around and I saw on Unilocal that the vast majority of places was on Washington. I quickly found a spot on the side of the street and this was the first place I bumped into. On first appearance, this place isn’t much. They are minimalists and they aren’t there to win a page in Architectural Digest. Don’t let this fool you, however. They have a long list of pizza varieties and italian dishes. Apparently they have great frozen yogurt as well which I somehow managed to miss but people after me kept asking for it… oh well next time
They have VERY thin crust pizza which has the appropriate amount of sauce to cheese to dough ratio. They are cheap as well. I think you can get 2 slices of cheese pizza and a coke for $ 5. If I didn’t think it would make my entire car smell of an italian restaurant, I would have gone for 2 or 3 of those! I also managed to find myself with a lasagne and tiramisu which were both awesome. Lasagne took a little longer since they had to cook it but look, this place is awesome so TRY it!

So, I’ve ordered from Grano several times over the past year or so (at least 8 – 10 times). And most times I’ve really enjoyed the food. But the most recent time I ordered, I tried to do something a little different and asked for the ricotta cheese topping. When the pizza arrived, it looked great, with large clumps of ricotta on top. However, the first bite, I noticed it tasted kind of funny. I took a couple more tentative bites to try and figure out why it tasted different, and then I realized — the ricotta was sour! I understand that it’s probably a less-​popular topping choice, but if you aren’t going to make sure your ingredients are fresh you shouldn’t include them in your menu. Just disappointing because I enjoyed the pizza every time before — but the one experience makes me hesitant to ever order from there again.
Side note: I have tried the froyo before and thought it was pretty good. Always fun to be able to get froyo delivered!
