Professional. Great haircuts. My 4 year old daughter once tried to give herself a haircut! We ran to Lilo and he was able to turn what was left of it into a cute look! Lilo saved the day!

I’ve been going here for over 3 years. It isn’t a fancy salon experience but it’s consistently the best haircuts I’ve had! Have to try it to find out for yourself. Reasonably priced at $ 35 – 40, so that’s a plus too.

My friend’s grandma suggested this salon to me. It was my first time having haircut in Boston. I showed him a picture of the style i chose, but he suggested that i would be very good with french style. I trusted him, so he cut my hair very quick — just 20 minutes. The result? It turned out awesome, and my friends and i like it.

if you are looking for a fancy salon experience, REALLY better skip this place. if you are looking for a really talented haircutter and colorist, Lilo is the man.
he is a one man show — no receptionist, no amenities, but people at work always ask me where I get my hair cut and highlighted. you will get a lot of compliments, trust me.
very fair pricing too; cash or check, no credit cards, I have gone from here to there, from groupon deal to expensive salons, but all of that is over, I go to ultracuts, period, the end, the search for pretty hair is over,

I was surprised how hard it is to find a decent barber around allston-​brookline. I tried 3 – 4 guys in the harvard/​comm ave area, and got some downright ugly haircuts. Lilo at Ultra Cuts is good, and, most importantly, consistent. Also, not overpriced. I found him and I use him every time now.

Great place. I made the change from Smart/​Great Cuts a few years ago and have been going to see Lilo at Ultracut in Brookline ever since. He is professional and totally unpretentious and is absolutely a barber before a pushy retailer like the other guys. The place isn’t modern… but has a very homey atmosphere. He never tries to sell overpriced hair care products before I leave and the prices for a cut are fair and reasonable. Conversations are very interesting as he speaks Italian, Hebrew, and Arabic among other languages. His music selection is rather eclectic as well. Closed early on Fridays and all day on Saturdays, I usually make my monthly visit on a Sunday morning. I just got back from a cut actually. I took two pictures today to throw on the site as well.
