Average buffet! Good for the price $ 11.95 each adult. I came from Sacramento, CA. The price is cheaper at this buffet than where I’m from. Highlight of this buffet: crabs, shrimp, phở, individual ice cream and big eating area. Food was warm. Cons: rusty bathroom doors. Old building. Pay after eating. The lady just stood there waiting for us to pay. I wish she would have left us alone to decide how we were going to pay. We had a small group and was wondering how to pay. Some had cash and some didn’t. We told her to come back for the check. She was very hesitant to do so. I think I’d probably go again.

The reviews for a while there were making this place look great. Asian buffets(and asian restaurants in general) tend to not rank that high because of their nature. I figured I would give this one a try… I regret it so bad! I first drove in and the parking lot is in huge need of repair! But ok, maybe its planned… I walked in and there was a odd fishy smell(think of a uncleaned goldfish tank we all had as kids). I still walked in. I saw a good amount of asians in the place, so i figured it can’t be that bad. I sat down, ordered my drink(not included in the cost, and not overly advertised as such, but oh well), went up and started to collect my food I would consume. They have Sushi, but upon further inspection, it looked like a drunk kindergartener made it on a field trip the day before. I still figured I would try it(apparently thinking wasn’t my strength that day). I tried several dishes and the food was BAD. The best thing I ate was the white rice. The food was pretty disappointing flavor wise, not even a too salty situation, more of a «I probably shouldn’t be eating this still» taste. The cleanliness was questionable at best around the food and I did not see any staff tending the buffet… at 1pm on a SATURDAY! Prime lunch grub time… Needless to say, my suspicions were correct and I found myself with a angry stomach when I got home. I would avoid this place at all costs!

I just don’t know where to start with this buffet. First off, they charged you extra if you waste food, which is understandable cause people will just think it dont cost the restaurant money for all that watsed food but how would they even know if its you or the other people that was wasting food. When my friend and i were eating there, i didnt even get a refilled on my water, come on its common sense to refill the water for the customers. I dont need to flag the workers down they come and pick up the plates when it was right in front of their eyes. The food is HORRIBLE!!! I dont know why some people will pay that kind of money to eat those kind of foods. Im not looking for great food that you will get at a 5 stars restaurant but some food that will make me come back to their place again. Their seafoods was not even all that good, i dont know why hmong people got and eat their, but i do love their phở and thats only thing i like from there. It just felt me unhappy, hungry for something else. If you are looking for a place that will make your money go longer go somewhere else.

I don’t think anyone should have too high of expectations when eating at a buffet. Buffets are akin to feeding time at the zoo but for humans. So my expectations were not set very high when we walked into this establishment. That being said, I didn’t find anything overtly disturbing at this buffet compared to any of the others I have been too. I apologize for not knowing the exact name of a lot of the food but some of the items that are wrapped in a sort of pot-sticker-type-wrapper definitely taste over-cooked/over-steamed. The wrappers have sort of become mush. Not surprising at a buffet though… but definitely disappointing. Didn’t see the sign that another commenter brought up that said that customers may be charged for any leftover food on their plates. Maybe we missed it. We had a tiny bit of leftovers and were not charged. Try not to be too disrespectful people and try something before you load your plate with it. If it’s just a little bit of leftovers I don’t think they care. They have piles of shellfish, sushi, and even a station for phở which quite a few people seemed to be enjoying. I haven’t had the courage to try any of these things because they also had a lot of other options including a lot of the usual Chinese buffet options! I was expecting mostly just seafood, but I was mistaken, so that’s nice. Our waitress was good, the place seemed clean enough, there was quite a few people, and surprisingly a lot of people who looked like they or their families had originated from Asia! That has to be a good sign right? We’ll definitely be back some night, mostly because they had so many options.

When it first open, the place have a great food and great price. The price has increase since and the drink is no longer include. I would say the only thing good at this place is the phở. They try so hard at sushi and many others dish that taste like salt. The lady waiter asking for tip; which she come and take about 4 plate from my table. The food is usual and drier than the other place that close by. My wife and I go there for a quick dinner because other place is pack with people. I become sick afterward and will not going back again.

The worst food my wife and I have had in 22 years! The establishment had the atmosphere of a high school cafeteria! There were many patrons of various Asian ethnicities there, so maybe the food was culturally authentic, but I was born and raised in Mn and this food sucked. Additionally, as a non-religious vegetarian(minor meat elements are ok) there was very little to eat, contrary to the average Asian resteraunts. Possibly the first time I have ever left a Buffett still hungry!

Right by walmart off shingle springs. Walked in, seeing that they were open on Thanksgiving. Noticed a sign stating that I would be charged for food left on my plate. I’m not chancing that. If I pay for a buffet, I pay for the buffet. Not extras that I choose not to eat because it may not be swallowable. Walked out

Where do I begin? The fact there is an outside residential Waste Management trash can inside of the restaurant, the fact the top of the wasabi by the sushi bar is black, there was wet paper particles caked to the spoons for their phở station, or that there was wrappers jammed in the utensil station. Wait, I did start somewhere. Well the phở tastes a little bit like it came out of a powder packet, the fried pepper shrimp are soft and mushy, and the sushi itself is actually shade and gradients of different colors for the same cut. I stuck to anything fully cooked that was not meat.

Coconut Shrimp, fish, mushrooms, crab, etc. Try It — You Will Like It. I filled up fast tonight. This place is much, much, much better then the so called largest buffet located in Fridley in my opinion ! Will definitely go back if I am in the Brooklyn Center area and hungry.

I honestly feel like this is just your standard, average Chinese buffet. One thing I would put out is the fact that they do offer phở, which I haven’t tried myself, but yet I am impressed, since a lot of Chinese buffets don’t offer the dish. Average place to get a quick Chinese food fix.

My kids loves this buffet and it is easy on our wallet as well. They serve phở, so that is plus going there. Food can use more selection, but for what your paying for, it’s worth it. Nice staff and great service.

Went there a couple weeks ago, the hostess took us to our table and there was some kind of sauce on the edge of the table, the waiter came by didn’t bother to go get a wet rag to wipe up the mess… instead he took a napkin and wiped it off in front of us, SODISGUSTING! The floors were wet, carpet had crumbs everywhere… I mean, it was a busy day when we went but with all those workers there one of them is supposed to take care of that right? are they looking for a lawsuit? Anywho, food was OK, it wasn’t the best like everyone said it was. would I go there again… no I would rather spend my $ 12 at a different buffet then have to deal with this mess again.

Bf and I just got back and we both have bad stomach aches and needed to puke. When I was there I asked a cook if they were making any more shrimp and the owner(I assume) came out and yelled at him and he walked away from me… Rude. The waiter was nice though. $ 11.45 for dinner.

Dirty silverware, food was cold by the time we got to the table. Clams were full of sand and crabs were literally full of crap. Nothing good to say.

This is located in Brooklyn Center, MN. I rarely over here but when I do it is usually involves some kind of eating too much with the family. Hence this buffet fits the bill, especially you don’t want to spend too much money and find a place that can fit a family of 14 – 15 or so. Beside the typical asian buffet food affair(more on this later), what I like about this place is their Vietnamese section which has all you can eat Phở and spring rolls. Look, it is no secret that I am Vietnamese and somewhat a picky eater. I tend to hate to eat any kind of buffet because my children are NOT creative on choosing a regular dish on the menu than a buffet. The buffet food is typical here: clams, crawfish, steam fish, fried this, fried that… In other words, it is blah — nothing worth discussing here. The décor and lighting in this place is just bloody ugly — like it was trapped in the 80s. Regardless, I can’t imagine another place where my children can eat what they want without complaints while I can have my bowl of Phở. Speaking of Phở, what a delight to have it here because if Subway and the Vietnamese universe collided it would be this place! You get to pick the ingredients, toppings and it is done very quickly(dare I say it is faster than subway). Speaking of ingredients, you get all kind of things in your phở: slice beef, tendons, basil, cilantro, and tripe… Am I grossing you out? Get over it — this is as authentic as it is going get. Yes, you can skip the tendons and tripe, etc. In summary, I give the restaurant a 4 star for the Phở and spring rolls and 2 star for the buffet. Sometimes this is the best you can do with a family of my size for a get together. Considering it cost lest than $ 8/person — that is a bargain.
