So, I know this is a Motel 6 and I’m not expecting fine accommodations but this was beyond awful. Check-in time was 3pm and we arrived around 3:30pm. We get to the desk and no one is in sight. Finally about 10 minutes later, some very disinterested employee shows up to check us in. Finish that up to find out our room isn’t even ready. Took about another 20 minutes of waiting to finish that up. Get up to our room and find an ashtray with a no-smoking sticker, burns on the comforters, bugs crawling all around the open window, a less than clean bathroom(with hair in the shower) We only need to shower & a few hours of sleep so it is what it is. We went out and returned late. I used my keycard to open the front door & was already about to get into the elevator when the front desk person called me back. She grilled us on if we were actually guests & which room we were staying in. I JUSTUSEDMYKEYCARDTOOPENTHEDOOR. I would never stay here again. On top of all that, wifi is an extra charge PERDEVICE(I wouldn’t mind paying for room wifi but $ 5 per device is a bit much when you only need it for a few minutes) and no shampoo/conditioner or hair dryers in the rooms. I guess you get what you pay for but this isn’t even the cheapest motel 6 I’ve stayed in but it was the worst(you have to pay more because of their«remodel»)

First floor was currently under construction but the room where i stayed(3rd floor) was newly renovated. Very clean and people at front desk were polite.

So I had to stay in a hotel because my apartment is getting renovated and I needed to stay in the area for work. There wasnt any other hotels available so I arrived at the motel 6 and it seemed okay, and checked into a 1 bedroom room. I left and came back later that night to find the place locked down with police walking the hallways and exterior. I finally got in and went to sleep. I woke up and as I looked at my bed I find a bed bug crawling on the sheets. I was in such disgust but I decided to not freak out when I spoke with the front desk… I told her about it and she said«oh…well I’ll pass on the information.» No apology no suprise. didn’t effect her whatsoever like it was a regular occurance. I decided to get a refund for the next night and never ever will I even set foot in a motel 6 again. So I am just warning anyone who is thinking of staying here…

Basic, clean, cheap lodging when your’re on the way to somewhere else. They allow dogs which made me give them an extra star. My complaint with the room itself was that they have high-Kelvin bulbs in the lighting fixtures. Harsh bluish-white fluorescent lights that were also dim. It was beyond weird especially since the light outside the window was yellow from the severe weather passing through the area.
