Tell you the truth, I never listened to the Beastie Boys and have only heard of Adam Yauch in passing. I read up on him and found he was a human rights activist and general great guy.
So we could all do worse than have a city park named after us after we die. Adam Yauch Park is a spacious park near the BQE – but shielded from the noise and fumes – with a children’s playground and right next to a dog run.
I often walk though here when I’m walking Olive, and appreciate that it’s so well-maintained.

Perfect little park to remember Adam Yauch «MCA.» Nice little playground for children, tons of trees with lots of shade, and even a couple of basketball courts.
Plenty of room for the kids to run around, and benches to sit and relax on while enjoying the scenery.
I’m glad I came here, and I’m so glad they dedicated this park to Adam.
