Ok so this isn’t Broadway obviously, don’t get your hopes up for elaborate seating and stage sets, but it’s about the cost of a 3D movie and the actors are wonderful. I saw my first play here tonight and loved it. I can’t wait to come back and see some others and maybe even volunteer for a few of them! Seriously, if you need an affordable date night this is a great place to check out if you’re old school like that (I am). It’s in a great neighborhood for eating out and strolling around, definitely take the train, bus, or a cab though. Parking is impossible and the garage near by will cost more than the play.

I’ve seen two shows at the Heights and have been beyond impressed both times! Hair last summer and West Side Story last week. If you have the chance to check this place out, I definitely recommend it. These guys are on their game and really know their stuff. The space is really neat — the main theatre is a roundhouse-​style blackbox, which makes for really interesting interpretations of the materials, and a unique experience in the relationship between the performers and the audience. Definitely check out their website to see what shows they have coming up!
