It’s a 7 Eleven. Typical and basic. Sadly, no parking lot.

During the good old days when I was 10 or 11 years old and summer was in session, an Extra Large Slurpee from 7 Eleven was the most sought after item each and every day. Granted, the 4 Chicken Wings and Pork Fried Rice Special for $ 3.25 at No. 1 was great, but it was nothing like the cool, sugary goodness from the 7 Eleven Slurpee. I won’t comment on anything other than the Slurpee. This particular 7 Eleven has a Slurpee machine that renders 4 flavors. Coke is always a staple of this machine. Other notable flavors can range from Hawaiian Punch, Sprite, Slice(Mandarin Orange), Mountain Dew, Gatorade, etc… The Slurpees themselves are nothing memorable but they did satisfy a beverage desire. For $ 1.75(historical pricing), a consumer can get 32 oz. of sugary goodness! Although I am shocked that I consumed 100 Slurpees in 100 Days, I am more astounded by the fact that I didn’t one day fall over and die due to diabetic shock! I will of course state that 7 Eleven did not help with my obesity issues when I was younger. I can’t imagine 100 grams of sugar per day for 100 days did anything for the fat kid… Nevertheless, the Slurpees were good and cheap. They satisfied a simple beverage desire each and everyday. Summer was G O O D…
