These guys are AWESOME. Towed my car when no one else could. Literally spent all day dealing with other tow companies. My car was in a precarious spot obviously. And dude rolled up and handled it like a BOSS!!! Rave review.

this company is deceptive and I am writing to the head of my insurance company to urge that they no longer use this company. after waiting for one hour, I get an automatic text asking if the driver has shown up. when I call my insurance company back they double check to tell me that the driver claims he couldn’t reach me and the order was cancelled. first, the text went to my cell phone so clearly it was working and there was no call to my home number. the tow company didn’t call the insurance company and there was no cancellation in their system. what the tow company wanted was to store the car overnight and stick it to the insurance company. I had arranged for the car to be towed from manhattan to queens to a 24 hour place. since they were not getting the extra money, they right out lied.
my husband was going to go out with the tow driver to make sure everything was ok, and he was in surgery two days ago. not even the courtesy to call the company, let alone me.
NEVER USE ALL ABOUT AUTOMOTIVE. OUTRIGHT LIARS

I was sitting in my car yesterday as my wife ran an errand, car & lights still on. The truck snuck up behind me, boxed me in and forced me to pay $ 140 to not be towed. I spoke with Officer Jackson at the 107^th precinct who said this is illegal and that an occupied car is not parked.
It’s no wonder they aren’t showing up for legitimate calls if they’re occupied running scams like this.

Note to all those who were illegally towed by All About Automotive. Keep your receipts or any evidence you have against them and file a complaint w the Dept of Consumer Affairs. There is a hearing against them on Sept 4 and you may be entitled to restitution.
You’d like your car to be towed by an unprofessional, abrasive, unethical towing company with employees who are under the influence of alcohol while at work you ask? Then these are your guys!
I cant imagine trusting these guys when you actually need your car towed. They are unprofessional, unethical, abrasive, show no care in handling/​towing your car, have employees who are under the influence of alcohol while they are at work, and are operating an unethical business where they are attempting to force their customers to pay cash (some tax/​IRS free income perhaps?!)
It’s a bad sign when the businesses in the area all called them scam artists and the property management company that has some deal with them has an F rating w the better business bureau.
They show no care in towing someone’s car. I saw the abrasive manner in which one of the cars was being towed while I was picking up my car as the driver hurried to drop the car without diligence and then sped off to another towing job.
I happen to shop at the 7 – 11 and got a bunch of food after a long day of errands. We stayed on property and sat to relax and eat our food. Within 30 minutes my car was towed even though I was a patron of one of their stores and never left the premises. When I attempted to show the tow company my receipt from shopping in the 7 – 11, they started accusing me of not actually shopping there because my receipt was a reprint even though there is surveillance that shows me there and the employee didnt initially give me a receipt which is why I needed an immediate reprint.
Even patrons of their Retro Fitness store told us they had been towed when they went to get a drink from the gas station across the street. They told us that apparently they hold on to your car and circle around and stay in the area so they can force you to pay cash to retrieve your car when you come back (YEAY some nice tax evasion/​tax free income for them perhaps?!)… otherwise you’d have to go all the way to williamsburg to pick up their car with credit card 45 minutes away.
Finally, when I went to go pick up my car, there were a bunch of unprofessional people sitting around with beer, and gossiping while at work. Yeah, that’s exactly who I want to tow my car in the case of an emergency. I left numerous messages for the manager Dave to look into contacting the property owners to see why I was towed even though I was a patron of their store, and I am not surprised to receive no response to my inquiries.
In a nutshell, with all the UN adjectives in full force here: Unprofessional, unethical, under-​the-​influence, unreliable, and under-​the-​table cash scam operation.

Last night my friends called roadside assistance after their car wouldn’t start. That was at 6:30 p.m. Roadside assistance called All About Automotive and said a truck would be there at 8:45. Seemed like a long time to wait. But 8:45 came and went and no one showed up. When we called All About Automotive to find out what was going on, we were hung up on! We called back and were treated quite rudely by the woman who answered the phone. She couldn’t give us any details about when we could expect the truck. So we called roadside assistance again and they said that All About Automotive cancelled the pickup! This is after waiting for 3 hours already for them to come! Roadside assistance rescheduled a pickup… but again the company dispatched was All About Automotive. Still no response after several more hours of waiting. Long story short, another company ended up doing the tow at 1:45 a.m. — more than 7 hours after All About Automotive was called!!! I don’t know what happened but this was a terrible experience. Thank goodness my friends were here an not stuck on the side of a highway. Is there anything worse than an unreliable towing service???

Over a long weekend someone decided to block mine and my neighbors driveway. After having the cops come ticket the vehicle I called All About Automotive. Within 10 mins they had come and removed the vehicle. Quick and efficient. If I’m ever blocked in again they will be getting the call!

Something definitely seems fishy about what happened to me yesterday with this tow company and whoever is looking over this parking lot. Parked my car at the shopping center on northern blvd. & 156^th St. Planned on going to paris baguette, but decided to grab food first from up the block. After 10 min of of being inside the restaurant I get approached by a gentlemen that describes my car and tells me Im not suppose to park there. When I get to my car its already gone. So of course this guy calls the towing company who was just around the corner to bring me car back. So my car magically appears and I paid cash. Seems odd that someone would know where Im going and come back to find me shortly after. Seems suspect to a SCAM

I can’t agree more that the towing company and the private parking lot spying people are creepy and disgusting. When we parked our car in murry hill plaza and went to a restaurant nearby. while we were just ordering food at the restaurant, a person came into the restaurant and said that we were not allowed to park there. He must have been following us and trying to see where we were going. We went back immediately, and only to find out that our car is on the towing car. They charged us $ 140 to get the car back even though we only parked there for 5 mins. They could have warned us when they saw me parked there instead of stalking us all the way to the restaurant. How gross it is that they intentionally towed our car and gave us a 140 dollar fine to get it back.

after my car breaking down i called my insurance company for a tow. they told me that it would cost $ 108 and that they would be there in 45 minutes, An hour and a half later i received a call that a tow truck was on its way, roughly twenty minutes away, and that the fee would be $ 208. (both fees are in addition to the $ 75 credit from my insurance company). after questioning the $ 100 difference in quotes the driver? began to yell at me, and when i questioned his attitude he hung up on me. i called the dispatcher who then said no one called and he would have been the only one to call and that it was going to be $ 200. asking him about the drastic increase and if the driver was still on their way he yelled at me and hung up.
furious now, but in need of a tow and already have waited over 1.5 hours i called my insurance company back to got them on the line. with them as a middle man, they told me it would be $ 175 (with a detailed receipt) and that they would arrive in 20 minutes. 45 minutes later they showed up, rude, and what looked to be a sloppy job putting my car on the truck. the whole ride back the drivers wife/​girlfriend kept falling asleep on me the whole time.
the driver was a dick, a bad driver, and over all mess. at the end of the order the «detailed receipt» said total cost of towing and paid.
if you can avoid it, never use this company.
also, that five star rating for Aura B. must be fake and someone who works for the company

How do you call those people that say that are on «their way» to help you out and take 3.5 hours to not show up? All About Automotive.

What a surprise this scam of a company is showing up with 2 stars! They did the same thing to me today. I was parked in a spot that was clearly not marked no parking and within 25 minutes my car was gone. When I walked back to the parking spot the spotter told me who to call and what a surprise within 15 minutes my car was back at the lot on the back of a tow truck. I had to pay the $ 136 and they wouldnt even make any concessions on the price. What a total scam, these people who operate this business are the lowest of the low. Next step a complaint to better business bureau and then to any an all medai outlets that will listen.

i thought i could park here now since new york supermarket closed down. i went to the bank for no more than 5 minutes and got my car towed. as i walked out of the bank, i thought to myself oh! im going to get some dumplings today. its a great day! but then i see my car coming out of the driveway by a towing truck so i ran to it and got my vehicle. luckily i got it in time and got to work but i still owed them $ 136 for lifting it on their tow truck. i will never eat at the surrounding restaurants of the lot again. ive never had this service before. so thats good bye to phở bang, phở bac, singas, penang, and that thai restaurant. oh that new supermarket? dont expect me there either. if i didnt catch them, there is no way im heading to brooklyn to get my car.

THIS PLACE IS PART OF A SCAM in Queens, involving towing people’s cars that accidentally go into a «private property» lot on Broadway and Elmhurst Ave. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I went into this lot, thinking it was for the restaurants right there, when in fact IF you parked there and IF you saw the signs which WERE NOT ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE LOT, your car is spied by some dude sitting in a car, who then calls All Automotive II, and suddenly BAM they’ve got your car and WILL GIVE IT BACK FOR $ 217.00 by a guy who was both rude and threatening. THESE PEOPLE NEED TO BE REPORTED TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU ASAP. Scam artists ALL AROUND.

All About Automotive is a great Towing company, it is located in Brooklyn servicing Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Bushwick, Bed-​Stuy and other areas. They always come as soon as possible and treat your car with care. They are the ones that I use now because their prices are lower compared to other companies.
