Ms. Fisher referred a home attendant name Virel Maxwell to take care of my mother and after her death, Ms. Maxwell continued to care for my father. My family always thought that she had been taking good care of him. After he died, I learned that he had«invested» tens of thousands of dollars in her nursing home(and told his lawyer it was a mistake that he wished he had never made); that she had taken two cars still registered to my father; and she claimed to own thousands of dollars worth of his property. Ms. Maxwell actually told me my father wanted his money back, and she would meet with me and repay it when she got her records. That was in 2007 and still no meeting. When I learned that the cars belonged to him, not her, she told me she would send me the license plates, and she has not. Ms. Fisher was not interested in helping us learn the truth and would not listen to any evidence that we had that might protect her other clients. Ms. Fisher claims not to remember meeting with me and my wife a few years earlier about this, so apparently she doesn’t even take notes about meetings with family members. She was only defensive and showed neither sympathy nor remorse when questioned about Virel. She continued to give glowing references of Virel as «honest and hardworking». IMO, she should show a more professional attitude by at least staying neutral and listening to the family instead of just defending the accused worker.
