I find a lot of goodies here eat time I go, from the fish to the soups to the sweet treats. There’s always something that catches my eye. You can get a good value for the Russian foods at this store with it’s decent selection. There is a large selection of hot and cold dishes, as well as desserts, cheeses, etc. I go back here often for the creamy mushrooms, the potato salad, the blini pancakes filled with cheese and cherry, as well as napoleon cake.

Happened upon this Russian delight after a friend had suggested. Wow, what a treat! Blintzes, pierogi, kasha varnishkas, borscht and every kind of cabbage you can dream of! The stuffed cabbage was melt-in-your-mouth good, steeped in a nice, light, tomatoey sauce, you know this was home cookin’ like grandma used to make(it was left in the original pan for you to scoop out)! I have to say, this was one of the best I’ve ever had – no harsh acidic aftertaste or need for Pepto-Bismol after! All sorts of fattening treats. How do those Russian girls stay so thin?!! The only downer is that the signs are all in Russian, and you’ll be hard pressed to find someone to describe what it is you’re actually eating. Take a chance, it is highly(and calorically) worth it! The buffet is a bit pricey but insiders tell me that if you go after 8pm, it’s half price ;)
