Single mom painting my apartment. Needed a lot of help and new nothing about painting and went to atlas paints to get some help. The gentlemen behind the counter were so helpful with every aspect of what I needed. They helped me with colors, what I needed and gave me a great price on high quality paint. Very happy would recommend to anyone. Mom and pop stores are the best especially in bay ridge.

I purchase most of my paint from Atlas because:
°They are close by
°Have a good selection of zero voc paints
°Friendly service
°Good pricing on paints
°Knowledgeable staff
The pricing on the supplies such as paint brushes, drop cloths, etc are a bit higher than the home centers, but the service is great.

Been to this store three times now. Every time I need paint I head on down. They’re friendly, reliable, happy to help and completely helped me as a painting novice.
If you want people that actually care about paint, head here and not Home Depot!

This is the best paint store around. They are knowledgable and reasonably priced. I live on Staten Island, but when I need paint, I make a special trip to Atlas.

This place was very friendly and had the feeling of a small town business. There were quite a few employees for a small paint store (I saw at least five) and they all appeared to like each other and where they worked. One guy (Ray, I think his name was) helped me find a color that matched a photo I brought in, and two other guys helped me pick out all the painting supplies I’d need. They didn’t try to steer me to the most expensive stuff they had — instead, when I was looking at rollers, they stopped me and said they had some for sale up front. Honest, friendly and helpful… I’ll be back!

Being a painting novice, I wasn’t sure what I was going to need to make our apartment feel new again. The staff here were friendly and helpful getting my wife and I set up with all the gear we would need. Recommended!
