It you like obese wanna be gangsters with trailer trash staff who act like you’re bothering them when you come into order/​eat than look no further ! I’ve seen the owner argue with customers as we’ll as the male short order cooks, way to keep it professional. They food is always a disaster and if you order delivery — order 2 hours before you think you might get hungry

I’ve grabbed take-​out here a couple of times when I was in town. The roast beef and the fried chicken are really good. I would be best served to not there everyday, but it’s definitely a fine occasional splurge, especially as a pit stop during a night of drinking in Bay Ridge.

Wow… I am speechless! I don’t want to hurt the ladies there in telling her the truth when asked to me about their food!
I was in the neighborhood decided to have some fried chicken instead of going to KFC. I guess if you’re diabetic and enjoy tasteless food you should come here!
I had fried chickens and mash potatoes. It was so bad with no flavor what so ever! Everything has no taste to them!
We were shocked when we saw another couple left without eating their corn on the cob, and most food untouched… My GF and I was wondering and that time out food was not serve yet.
The only thing good about this place is the polite waitress. She was very nice to us.

The roast beef is good but god, so is their fried chicken. Greasy, yes, but their chicken breast, thigh, and leg are soo good. I’ve only ordered delivery and have not been disappointed.

Ordered food, sauce didn’t come for my buffalo wings, not the first time I have ordered from here. They said we never asked for sauce… The problem is I have never asked for sauce they have always given sauce to me. I had to leave my company and dinner to go to the store and get sauce for the wings. Not a happy customer!

My gf and I went in to try the burgers. Made a large order of food. While the food was on, they made a mistake on our order.
Neither one of us eat pork and they added bacon to a burger when it was not supposed to have it on at all.

When I’m in Brooklyn, I usually order either the Philly cheese steak or the roast beef, both of which are great, but yesterday, I ordered a rack of baby back ribs that was atrocious.
For thirty dollars, I was expecting tender ribs with a decent barbecue sauce, like a Bull’s Eye type sauce. Instead, the ribs were fatty on top, burnt in some places, and placed in a cheap paper container that was soaked through by the sauce. Styrofoam or plastic would have been the way to go. I don’t know if the burnt, fatty, chewy meat, or the disgusting, sharp, sour sauce was more disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. They also don’t give you a choice of side with this expensive meal; the fries were totally soggy, limp, flavorless frozen fries, and they put the mini hamburger roll in the same container as the putrid ribs, which rendered it soggy and inedible.
I have fond memories of the place when it was on 8^th Avenue, across from the park. The delivery guy didn’t say two words this time.
I’m going to stick to the Philly cheese steak, and that’s about it. All else seems subpar.

Disgusting! Paid for cheese on top and they squirt fake in a can cheese??? rendered the entire sandwich inedible. That and their delivery guy was rude and aggressive.
Absolutely not!

Food was delicious, I got the roast beef rare. It was on point. The fried chicken is cooked for you fresh so it takes a bit, it’s good though… Gives u a time to enjoy that roast beef! Good service and friendly staff straight outta Brooklyn!

A couple of weeks ago I came across Zekes and I have been hooked ever since. The Roast Beef is exactly the way I like it. The chicken is prepared fresh, and it is quiet tasty and moist. LEE at the counter is wonderful.

Stopped by here on a whim while out for a walk and was pleasantly surprised. Nice atmosphere and very helpful folks behind the counter. Our food was quickly and was brought to us… and very very good. All cooked fresh for us, not sitting on warmers waiting for customers. That explains why they told me the ribs would take 15 – 20 minutes (I went for the BBQ burger instead) and in retrospect would probably have been worth the wait. I’ll be back to try it for sure. It’s only a few bucks more expensive than chain store fast food to eat here and much better food.

Got some potato croquettes and it was okay.

I’ve had Zeke’s a few times. First few times was a great experience. (Delivery). The roast beef is decent, not bad.
In store, is a different experience. Once, I ordered wings and the guy who was trying to bag it broke open the container; instead of getting a different container, he just shoved it into the white paper bag. I figured, if he thought it was fine, then it was fine. On the way home, the wings came out and all over. It was a mess. In hindsight, I should have asked for another container.
2^nd time, I walked in, not like I’m expecting 5 star service, but the staff barely even smiled or acknowledged me. They seemed so unmotivated (I think it was a holiday).
The last time i ordered, which may be my last time, the delivery took 3 hours. Not exaggerating, 3 hours. Not a sorry, nothing. I called after an hour and the guy assured me that the food was on its way. I fell asleep and woke up and checked the confirmation email that it has been 3 hours since my order was placed. Weather was not a factor either. So disappointed.

I love the roast beef sandwiches here just wish they were a bit more generous with the «natural». Small place but staff is very friendly.

Saw the bright sign outside the door on a Friday nite. Decided to go in. We ordered the roost beef sandwich special listed, which comes with a milkshake. The strawberry shake was pretty good, but the roost beef sandwich was a disappointment. It was small by Brooklyn standard (Roll and Rooster standard). I expected the meat to be tender and juicy, it wasn’t. The fixin was the only item that added flavor. We finished still on a half empty stomach.

I went here with the fan during the 3^rd Ave Festival. Overall it was decent, but nothing to write home about. A good value burger if you’re in the area.
I got a ¼ hamburger. It was pretty tasty. They had a pretty simple toppings bar with LTMOPK. They could spruce up the toppings bar with more ingredients. It wouldn’t cost much, and if you’re going to make customers put their own toppings on burgers, I say you should have more than the mere basics.
The onion rings left a lot to be desired. They were crunchy but very plain tasting, certainly nothing interesting. Overall the meal wasn’t bad.
Great service. I felt like my party was very well cared for, which is always something to look for. But I would rather have incredible food than incredible service. Then again the place has Roast Brief in the title, perhaps I should have gone for the signature dish! Maybe next time.

Horrible. We ordered the roast beef on a hero and they brought it on a roll. Told then to split it in half and they didn’t. No cheese, no gravy, nothing. My friend ordered the BBQ beef and there was barely any BBQ on it. Sweet potatoes were freezing cold and we ordered fries with cheese and it came on the side. It was one of the worst orders of my life. Much more to add but don’t wanna go on.

Ordered from Zeke’s for this first time today. Got Roast Beef Sandwich with cheese, Fries with Cheese, Mac & Cheese, and Apple Pie Slice.
The order came a half hour earlier than expected, which was great.
Roast beef sandwich with cheese — This actually would have been really awesome but their cheese is just not good. They need to change it — i’m a huge cheese fan and really would have given a great review of this place had it not been for how bad the cheese was.
Cheese fries — Fries were a little too salty but once dunked in ketchup were A-​ok. I had ordered these with cheese, unfortunately they use the same cheese as they use on the sandwich so it sucked.
Mac & Cheese — Again — cheese sucked — seriously if the owner reads this — please for all that is holy in this world — change the cheese you are using.
Apple pie — I actually am saving this for later but it smells amazing so I really can’t imagine it will be bad (especially since there is no cheese on it).
So all in all — I would probably order from here again but avoid everything having to do with cheese here.

I’ve ordered this many times before and I just ordered it again for lunch!
They are known for their roast beef sandwiches but I go there for their chicken caesar salad and their sweet potato fries.
Their roast beef sandwiches are small and not filling. I ordered it twice. Once with their spicy sauce and once without it. Definitely taste better without!
However, their burgers are GOOD! I ordered it with bacon and cheese and their patties are so tender and satisfying.
Their grilled chicken caesar salad is awesome! Croutons are always still crunchy and not stale when I get my order. Their lettuce is always fresh. The one thing I don’t like is their use of the dressing. My goodness. do you need THAT much dressing on your salad? But now I learned to just ask them to put the dressing on the side.
They have cheese fries and sweet potato fries. I love their sweet potato fries. Crunchy and glazed with sweetness. Yum!
Definitely should try this place out if you’re around the area!

Just ok.
It shouldn’t take an hour+ for my delivery of a mediocre, rare, almost cold, roast beef sandwich.
After I re-​heated it in the microwave, it was «ok», but not what I was expecting.
