The food is good. Great baleadas, but they are super rude. To get delivery you need to order like $ 30. If the service were better they would get 4 stars.

I came to Azteca Maya the first time a couple years ago when they first opened. I cannot remember how the food tasted then. I actually live very close to it, but have not been in the neighborhood regularly for a couple years, until now. I always see people going in an out of this place. I was always intimated to go in because I do remember it was hard to order not knowing Spanish. However, I let go of that fear and opened the door. I asked the lady for the menu. It was in Spanish, but I am able to read Spanish; I am not very good at conversing in Spanish. I ordered two tacos, 1 chicken and 1 steak. It took some time to get them, but they were amazing! The meats were in chunks and the cook stuffed the tortillas with meat. They put everything on the tacos, and give you hot sauce on the side. The hot sauce had a nice taste and a good kick. I will be returning in the near future to try other items on the menu, Plus, it will help me to brush up on my Spanish. I also want to support local places like this that cater to their community, therefore the food will be authentic. If you want good Latin American at a no frills place, you have to check Azteca Maya out.

Best Mexican food hands down, everything was fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised. It’s definitely worth the trip and the nightmare of finding parking.
