Great spicy sausage. The main guy behind the counter is extra friendly, like your late to wherever you’re heading next friendly. He said the Unilocal deal is expired, but he honored it anyway. The rice balls are creamy with a very light and crisp breaded coating. I was surprised by the ham, which is not traditional in my family, and didn’t like that too much b

An Italian neighborhood deli hidden from the busy noises of NYC where locals go for fresh cut meats, sausages, bread, and sandwiches. If you are ever running short on time n want to pick up some prepped foods for dinner, you can count on these guys to have it ready for you. They have salads, crab cakes(if I remember correctly), lasagna, pasta, desserts, parmigiana, and then some. I was visiting one time and stayed at my friend’s just a few blocks away. I asked a local where he would grab a quick bite at and he pointed me this way. He mentioned I’d be paying a premium and that it’d be worth it. I gotta say… He was right on the money about paying a premium, but he was also right about it being worth the premium. I’m a sucker for good prosciutto n cheese for the most part. I’ve had good ones, bad ones, and some in between. Naturally I ordered their prosciutto sandwich. The simple cold combination of fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, aged balsamic vinegar, and olive oil in a crusted ciabatta style bread leads to a smile each n every time. $ 14 for a guaranteed smile… That’s why I go back each time I’m around. A real neighborhood gem.

I only tried this place because of a promotion for Mercato food delivery service, but now I’m a big fan. I got a couple beautiful filet mignons, delicious pork spare ribs, and some hot pork sausage. Because of that sausage I made the best spaghetti sauce I’ve ever made and now can’t go back to making sauce without it.

Prosciutto balls + a pound of tuna is my regular pick up here. Their tuna is chopped so small and tastes amazing– not fishy at all! Great, consistent quality and service.

When planning a 30th birthday party to feed 10 – 15 people, my husband knew he needed a reliable place locally, one that would deliver, and were quality is highly valued. We looked no further than B & A Pork Store. We ended up getting a 4 foot hero, half with eggplant, roasted peppers, and fresh mozzarella while the other half was with breaded chicken cutlets. The portion per person was HUGE! You couldn’t even open your mouth completely for a full bite! We had leftovers for two days! Best part — we got free rice balls and potato croquettes with the order. Total with tip came to $ 110. Not bad! Make sure you come here to look around and ask to try a sample or two. This place is known for freshly made Italian specialties, so make sure you do yourself right!

Not many places in Dyker like this left. Been shopping here for 15 years and never once had a problem. The fennel sausage is out of this world as well as their mozzarella. The staff is very helpful and is always willing to accommodate. Especially because I like my cold cuts cut very thin. Oh and the rice balls are a must try.

I’ve gotten decent pork chops that were expensive and I’ve gotten steaks that I could have bought at the supermarket. Everyone is very nice and helpful, hence the three stars.

B&A is an excellent pork store. I have been coming here for over 25 years. The prices are high, but the product is worth it. The rice balls are worth killing for. Definitely try: rice balls fresh mozzarella parsley and cheese sausage braciole

Walked in this place Saturday and walked right out. Can we say sky rocketed prices. China Ken cutlets $ 6.99 a pound(are you serious). Went to 2 other places and it was $ 2.99 a pound. Way too expensive for me

Very clean and friendly. You get what you pay for. But to be honest I kind of understand why being that it is much cleaner. Overall come here. Its the best butcher on this side of brooklyn.

Excellent pork store in my home neighborhood. The cold cuts are sliced and packaged as if they were Tiffany gems. Meats and prepared foods are terrific. However the freshly cooked roast beef is the showstopper. Try it in a prepared hero with mozzarella and brown gravy. Real deal serving a demanding audience. Excellent!!!

Always super kind and courteous! Just got my thanksgiving turkey from B&A and it was so fresh and delicious! They took my order over the phone a few days prior and had it waiting for me when I arrived to pick it up. Everything I’ve gotten from them has been great quality ! My new go too butcher !

Excellent catering! They will also make items not on the menu! Food is delicious! I love going into the store on the weekend for the variety of foods the make… chicken cutlets, chicken kiev, broccoli rabe, Italian string beans and potatoes, chicken pasta salad, tomato salad… the sandwiches are the best roast beef with mozzarella and peppers!

$ 9.25 for a roll with prosciutto and muzz? Italian cold cuts on a kaiser roll? 2 small pieces of muzz? This place was really good at one time– not sure what happened. Not too many good old school pork stores any more The place is clean with a nice selection of meats and pastas

Charged me a dollar extra for lettuce and tomato on what was already an over-priced and mediocre sandwich. Will not be returning.

I have been going to this place for a very long time at this point. They have been consistently impressive. I am in here quite often and it has always been very clean and the staff is always polite. Not only are they polite but they also know what they are doing. The food is always fresh and tastes great. I have had everything from the filet mignon, to the sandwiches, to the mac & cheese. I have without exaggeration tried almost everything in there at some point. Believe me the food is excellent and well worth stopping in for. They have a great selection of foods and drinks, and even some cool desserts in the freezer. I definitely recommend this place.

Unexpectedly, some of the best eggplant parm Ive ever had. But it goes quick, so if you go after a certain time you may not get it. Other great choices, the chicken marsala and the greek salad. Delicious!

Good pork store for Italian specialties and meats. Good place to get a hero sandwich for lunch if you are hungry. I still prefer homemeade sauce but if you are in a rush this is acceptable, better than Ragu in a jar. Riceballs are pretty amazing too!
