I ordered the jerk pork fried rice … They didn’t ask me what size so I assumed it was for one person … Cost about ten bucks but can easily feed three grown men … It was literally so much food … Super delicious !

Omg! I just love their food! Especially the house special rice. Yum! Everytime I go to my aunt’s house in brooklyn we always get food from here. I just wish they would open up in Queens — they would get lots of business here!

I had a dinner party on October 17th and had Bamboo Express cater for about 25ppl. Bulla was very helpful in choosing the menu and the food was ready on time for pick-up the following day(I ordered 7 small tray entrees). Everyone at the party loved the food. There was barely anything left by the time the last person said goodnight. I will definitely order from them in the future.

Guyanese chinese food. Do not come here for Jamaican specials! But the food is really tasty. the roti is pretty standard. The lunch menu prices r excellent. My go tos are the chicken fried rice with extra chicken sauce and curry goat roti. Plus i always get 2 doubles with extra peppa sauce

D bake and salt fish was different from d trini version I accustom to but it was ok. D «pepper sauce» was watered down. Oh and d mauby taste like it was spoiled. I took a couple sips and my stomach started to feel funny. I’ll try not to b so hungry next time I n d area or I’ll jus try somewhere else.

This is only of the only spots open until late(at least until midnight, sometimes later) that serves full meals around here. Good quality food and diverse menu of Trini & Trini Chinese food. You can also eat very fresh & healthy here as well, if you can somehow avoid all the tasty fried things.

The like this spot. West Indian style Chinese food or Guyanese-Chinese food love the jerk pork, Trini-style chicken and the lo mein. There is so many other things on the menu I want to try like the cook up rice. oil roti, pepper pot, the soursop shake, Fried banga mary and the jerk lamb. This place people most get takeout even though you can eat it there. The price are decent for 2 people we paid about $ 15.00. Good West Indian style chinese food!

I have no idea about the Chinese side of the menu, but the West Indian items are mostly excellent. The small items are large and the larges are unfinishable for most. The goat and chicken curries with rice and peas are first-rate, excellently spiced with flavors I’m not qualified to identify. On the last visit it was difficult to miss out on the smoky coating of the jerk chicken but I wanted to expand my knowledge of all things jerk, so I went with the jerk pork. I’ve never seen this formulation before, using juicy Chinese-type roast pork, for a compelling item that you probably shouldn’t have every day.

Awesome Chinese-Guyanese cuisine. I only wish they sold Pepper Pot. :(

All I have to say is How do you jack up a vegetable roti? This is just a fancy Chinese restaurant way overpriced crappy phony and not authentic restaurant. I wasted $ 6 too much here, never ever again. The roti skin was burnt, and dry, and the vegetables were cut so large I couldn’t really bite into it. Horrible… HORRIBLE

When I first moved over here my mother put me on to this place and since that day I absolutely love it here. The food is amazing. If you are looking for some good curry chicken, curry beef, roti, soup, and baked goods they are the place to go to. They do not accept cards so make sure you have cash on you. They did receive an A for their place so that’s a plus.

These Trinis are like family to the stranger. You sail up and down Flatbush, and wonder how someone could pass all these doubles, patties, roti, and oxtail and hit a fried chicken chain. It’s a dayumn shame. I remember the first time I walked into Bamboo, the big man at the register with the gentle smile offered me a couple samples and a friendly chuckle. They have some good roti and a decent selection of Caribbean baked goods, and the bakes are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside– like some varieties of hojaldre us Panamanians make. Don’t know what a bake is? See«Smoke Signals»: «Hey Victor, you’re mother makes great fry bread.» The single missing star is for a particular reason that might turn you off. Actually, it’s going to turn a lot of you off. But it’s not enough to kill the high this place gives me: they do sometimes reheat your food in a microwave. I gotta give full disclosure. They also have«West Indian-style Chinese food», though I’ve never seen a Chinese-Trini working there. No, for Chinese on Flatbush, you’ll see me making a beeline for Zen.
