Really good service and cozy atmosphere. Eric the bartender was awesome, and when I’m back in Brooklyn I’ll make it a priority to visit again. Oh yeah, prices kick ass!

Best bar on the planet. These bartenders have put up with my shenanigans for many years. I don’t live in the city anymore but gladly drive from New Jersey just to have a few beers here!

This neighborhood bar made me wish I lived in the neighborhood. Very casual and friendly, excellent service, has a great vibe — not pretentious but not dive-like. Kinda tight in the front but there are tables in the back if you have a bigger group — with a foosball table!

Stumbled upon this gem while in town for a family wedding. Great vibe, super welcoming staff(shout out to Carolyn!), and exceptionally chill atmosphere. Loved it! Will definitely be back.

Best bar in the neighborhood! This is where I go to watch my Rangers games! And Wednesdays are the best since they have $ 3 drafts all day long. Love it here!

Sunday afternoon bar crawl series chapter 3. The 718 bar is located at 7185th Ave as well as being in the 718 area code, so as Brooklyn as can be! I can’t believe I’d missed this place before as it shares an address with the multi-named Asian Taste. This is a friendly and dark little bar with dark wooden furniture and a nice vibe. We felt no guilt pulling up a 4pm still on a Sunday as there were already folks representing. One thing I found amusing is that they proudly display the well liquor on the back bar for all to see! Most places tend to have a «what you don’t know can’t hurt you» policy about the well, but not here! It’s that honesty combined with the friendliness that earns the extra star from me. I will definitely be back

718 is a Polish Cheers. And pickle shots are delicious.

This bar is pretty frikkin awesome bro. Tell Krystian that Bobby Curbs sent you. Better than any bar within at least a one million block radius. Seriously though, love it. Five stars!

This is a neighborhood bar. Gabe’s neighborhood bar… I just met him there. Seems to be different bartenders there every time I go, but the drinks are consistent. They have trivia or jeopardy or sports playing at any time and free popcorn!(In a popcorn machine… Not in a random bowl placed at the bar that everybody touched) anyway, had my first vodka and pickle shot here. Unlike the pickleback, this is made with vodka and pickle juice mixed together and chased with a mini dill pickle. Pickles sure are popular these days! Anyway, it’s a nice chill spot. I definitely don’t feel awkward drinking there by myself as it’s pretty empty on weekdays. but I’m also usually there early. Could be my next regular spot too although I rarely ever leave manhattan.

Saw the reviews on Unilocal during a recent visit so went in on a whim. WOW!!! The bartender was great and she was more than helpful on helping my g/f choose out a couple of beers to choose. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and especially liked that all the drafts were imports. I’d like to go back here one day, but probably will never be back in that area.

I always like this place. Who ever is serving behind the counter is cool and offers conversation, which is nice, and I think theyve gotta be the cheapest bar locally. Happy hour is usually till 8 and all day on Wednesday.

The atmosphere is cozy, the bartenders are friendly, and it’s the kind of hang where you can actually have a conversation and get to know your neighbors. Check out the monday night pot luck, but don’t forget to bring a dish! :)

Went here the other night with some friends… It had a very cozy feel — dark, small, playing fantastic 80’s alternative music. The bartender was friendly and there is a foosball table, which provided us with lots of entertainment. The only negative was that we couldn’t really cobble together any of the board games(they were all missing essential parts), but alas, we were forced to actually speak to each other. All in all, a very good little bar with a great vibe…

BESTBARINBROOKLYNHANDSDOWN! The bartenders are your friend the second you walk through that door in a genuine way. Krystian and Damien will truly make it feel like it’s your home away from home. It’s the kind of place where everybody knows your name, and if they don’t they very quickly will. Good selection of libations to disinhibit you. I frequent this bar often and asked them if I could have my birthday there because it is the perfect vibe in every way and not only did they reserve half of their bar, they bought me an amazing red velvet birthday cake, brought it over and sang to me! I almost didn’t write this review because then I would have to share the best kept secret in Brooklyn.

Super friendly staff. The owners kick ass. The bartenders kick ass. I’m sure the janitors kick ass as well. I got here on the late night but people just kept coming in. This is a spot that you should hit up on the late night. Great selection of drinks. Plus they have foosball and not enjoying foosball is sacrilegious. As I said good spot on the late especially if you’re going from South Slope into Sunset.

Always a solid choice when you’re in the hood! Christian & Damien know how to take care of their loyal customers, and by that I mean keep you drinking. A little off the beaten path, but worth it, especially on $ 3 pint Wednesdays. Definitely a bar where«everybody knows your name» by the time you leave. But don’t leave without having a Polish pickled mushroom shot!

Damien is the man. I came here drunk and left wasted and slighly happier from trying the best pickle back shot of my life. The Polish-style pickle back shot with bison grass vodka and a small little gurken in the glass is an absolutely beautiful thing. It’s a bit on the small side for a bar, and I could see it getting a bit crowded, but I’m usually here around 2AM when the drunks return to their familiar faces to smile and sing a few songs. The bar has wine, but it’s not your classic wine bar. I’ve found that it’s better as a place to wind down a great night and have in-depth philosophical conversations with the good friend that will help you get home safely. Come by — I’m the loud drunk guy.

I cant say enough about how amazing Christian and Damien are! I love a place where I walk in and they know what I want to drink, have a smile you almost feel like you received a huge hug! They have great drink specials, a spectacular Foosball table and a great projector screen TV that is great to catch your games on. No too small and not too big. always has great people and good times. Love love love!
