They have good food but are too expensive for my taste and I found the customer service to be a little lacking.

They have the best kosher pizza in the tri state nothing comes close. True brick oven pizza. Their ziti slice is heaven on earth. Fries are amazing as well with great pricing. Usually no line and if there is one it moves. Tip-call in your order in advance and they will have it ready for you

Absolutely amazing ! Loved the vodka slice! They have great pizza all different kinds and they’re huge slices ! A bit pricey for pizza but totally worth it. One other thing the place is too small and feels uncomfortable. Other than that it was great!

I walked into this pizza place because it was kosher and had a special on the door for students. 2 slices of specialty pizza with a soda for 6 or 7 dollars. I was with my 7 and 4 year old sons… When I ordered the special, I was told that they did not qualify as students because it was only for high school and college students… Seriously. both of my children are indeed students! In addition, as I was walking in, I noticed not one table had been cleared off… They also only take cash… In an area that abounds with kosher fast food, I would think that t his place would be out of business.

I’ve eaten here on many occasions over the years and the food is excellent. However, I believe that along with excellent food, service needs to be at least good to keep coming back. Sadly though, this place has been lacking in the service area. The guy behind the pizza counter is downright obnoxious. He makes one feel like he’s doing the costumer a favor by giving him food. When mentioned to the owner, he simply shrugged his shoulders. All this with high prices and cash only are a bad recipe. I will not come back to this establishment again simply because they have terrible customer service.

Love this place, gourmet kosher pizza at its finest. I have tried many things at Benny’s and have never been disappointed. Some of my favorites include pasta fasul soup this soup tastes like it is made in a high end restaurant rather than a pizza store, the regular slice is super cheesy and cooked to perfection, their salads are always fresh and fully customizable, last but not least the Benny’s pasta rivals the most expensive pasta you will find in kosher restauraunt sin the city

I’m not the biggest fan of a regular pizza — read cheese — but this place, Benny’s, makes an amazing cheese pizza. It’s affordable($ 15 — cash only though), kosher, so no meat but it’s absolutely delicious. The pizza reminds me of authentic Italian pizza where it’s not as greasy as your standard ny pizza. Highly recommend it.

I was excited due to the reputation, but unfortunately experiences some unforgivably terrible service. I know making pizzas can be stressful, but the way the men behind the counter treat the customers is plain ridiculous. On top of that, the pizza is extremely over priced($ 4/slice), the menu is unclear and confusing, they only take cash, they did not have enough pizza to serve the customers(at a pizzeria!!!), and they refused to make a new pie of what they didn’t already have made. I’m disappointed that I didn’t get to try the pizza, considering that it did look delicious.

I’ve lived around the corner from this pizzeria for over a year now. It’s always busy and passing by always makes me hungry because it smells so good. I finally walked in yesterday to see what the hype was. It was good thing I happened to have cash on me because I swipe for EVERYTHING. I got a regular slice and square and it was $ 7. Eh, could be cheaper but I have to say the regular slice was pretty big. I’m not Jewish but this Kosher pizza will have me coming back for more(if I have cash on me).

Having grown up in this Jewish neighborhood, I sure do know about the severe tendency kosher pizza has of sucking. It was over half a decade ago that I decided I would never buy a slice of it again. When Benny’s opened I obviously avoided it. It took me a few years to soften up to simply splurging the whole 3ish dollars to get a regular slice. It was good enough to take out of the kosher pizza category and place into the regular good pizza category. I then tried their deeper dish slice, their vodka slice, vegetable slice, pasta on pizza slice and whatever else they have when I walk in. It’s not the best pizza but it’s good. Good enough to feed my russian grandparents. Good enough to eat weekly. The service is not awesome but I don’t expect good service in a delicious kosher pizza place in a jewish neighborhood.

I guess it depends on what you’re looking for in a pizza. I think the pizza is Ok but my boyfriend LOVES it. I’ve seen people order pasta and soup there and it looked good but I never tried it. It’s usually pretty busy. They also have a special I think Monday to Wednesday a large pizza for $ 11.99 so try it out.

The food was great but the service was pretty bad. Staff were not helpful at all(was empty so not exactly because of other people there) and rolled their eyes and kept on insisting I ask the other staff member for help as it was not their job. Seems to be a common complaint — other people in store said same thing

Okay, I know it’s called Benny’s Pizzeria, but I ended up not getting the pizza, the other food looked great too! One thing about moving to Midwood that has me tickled pink is the availability of kosher products and food. No, I am not an observant Jew, nor am I even Jewish by birth… but I love the fact that since there are many kosher options here, I get lots of veggie-options too! I ordered the veggie burger supreme. This was a veggie patty with a grilled portabella mushroom on top, with guac and cheese. Really? Heaven on a plate. It’s served on a sesame bun(with sesames seeds on both sides!) I asked for it with the salad on the side which was sliced cucumbers with red onion and tomatoes. It was really a simply delicious meal. My fiancée got the avocado wrap and macaroni and cheese. The Mac’n’cheese was served to us in a piping hot crock bowls. Overall, I think the food is delicious and I would definitely return to check out the pizza(which looked delicious by the way!)
