Please for the love of God, do not give these people your money. I’m sure they aren’t internet savvy, and don’t care that I want to brutalize them on Unilocal — but here goes… if you do use them — they are cheap. I got a 6×8 room for $ 110. Not bad. But they have soo much fine print — be super careful on the way out. They love to hit you with every fee in the book, and literally laugh at you as they tally it up. Their on site staff does nothing, as far as I can tell — and are under strict instructions not to help you– but also seem to have strict instructions to do things like wash the boss’ car. i feel a bit bad for these dudes, actually, and tipped them every time. The boss, who stands stock still all day staring at the security cameras, is a bit creepy. They own a small selection of «dollys» = glorified skateboards, really– and will charge you $ 15 to $ 20 for their use. If you use one of these Craigslist man-​with-​a-​van people to move, make sure you say they are your buddy, just coming to help– otherwise they won’t even let them into the loading dock «for insurance reasons». I’m still seething that they charged me an extra month because I had rented the space on a27th, and should have arrived on the 27^th to move out my stuff– instead of pro-​rating me, they charged me for a whole extra month. RRR. Just be careful — but like I said, no matter how much small print their is, I guarantee you’ll miss something…
