Eh, a friend invited me here to join him and some friends who were drinking here. This place looks just like it sounds, like a log cabin in the middle of Brooklyn, and like a place that you’d want to wear a chunky sweater to and partake in their s’mores along with your whiskey. I had a few whiskeys here, and chatted up my friends at the bar. We stayed until closing, I think. I wouldn’t come out of my way to come here. One of the guys we were with loves close by, so I get Camp as a local spot.

Came on a Tuesday karaōke at 10pm. Stuck draft to beer for liquid courage. Why would do cocktails when you’re camping?

I went her for drinks with a bunch of friends and I was not impressed. The drink prices were pretty high for the type of bar that it is. It’s not very nice inside. Most pictures I have seen of this bar look like they must have been take a long time ago compared to what it looks like now. Most likely not a bar I would make a point to go back to.

Great spot on smith street! Can’t go wrong here! Lovely and cozy! Can’t wait to go back… Again I think it’s sad that some of these« Unilocalers» say such negative things when they actually had a good time!

Let me start off by saying the concept of the place is cute… but the chairs and bar stools are all worn so they were very uncomfortable. We moved from the bar stools to the bigger chairs and there was a wire sticking up which is super annoying. Their website shows pics of a s’mores dessert, they didn’t have crackers and then when they did they ran out of marshmellows. The bartender was very sweet I would like to say, but I wouldn’t be going back to this place. Last night was the coldest night we had so far and there fire place wasn’t working. I feel they could fix this place up a lot and it would be much better. I like the theme but they just aren’t hitting it right.

We went here on a Saturday night. It was different but i had a really good time. Not super crowded. It was dark. We had some smores which was fun and had 2 cocktails. Very unique date choice sure to be remembered.

We went here when we were visiting my sister and overall had a good time. Although I don’t feel like the place looks like the website it had a low key atmosphere and good service. The drinks were a little higher priced than I had anticipated for this specific place but it was convenient to where my sister lived. I wouldn’t mind going back again when in town.

This is one of the coziest bars I’ve visited! We snagged a little two-person counter at the front window and had a few(reasonably priced) beers. I think we had arrived around 9, and the place was already full. I was happy that despite the busy-ness, the bartenders got our beers rather quickly. We noticed that others had miniature fire pots and were making s’mores – the bar was already out of s’mores ingredients by the time we arrived, so we’ll likely try this place again, but earlier. Bonus: the bathroom is clean and not absolutely terrifying.

I went here for a friends’ birthday party. She recently asked me to go there to meet here for a few drinks and I replied… «No, I don’t want to go to a bar and feel like I’m in a crowded dorm room in Boulder, CO.» This place is incredibly tacky. Even the name and the concept. Just not impressed at all.

Atmosphere: interior is decorated like an old campground with a fireplace, and kayaks hanging on the walls in the back room. Cozy bar with all wood tables, floors, etc. Looks like a log cabin inside with a small bar in the front and seating with tables towards the back. Food: did not get to try the s’mores platter but I hear great things and will be sure to update my review once I go back. Drink: we tried both the camp martini and the Girl Scout martini. Both were delicious. I didn’t want anything too creamy so the bartender modified it accordingly, no questions asked. We liked the Girl Scout because it had dark chocolate mint liqueur in it as well. The marshmallows were lit and roster upon serving! Overall: great service, great drinks, and perfect for a date night or catching up with a small group of friends. Highly recommend!

This is the cutest little spot! I found it one day while scavenging through Unilocal pages and decided to stop in on a bar crawl for my friends birthday. We got a s’mores platter to share and two rounds of Girl Scout cookie shots! Mmmmm just like an adult camping trip! The décor is adorable and there’s wood, taxidermy, and camping supplies scattered all over the bar. They were even decorated for Halloween with cobwebs and Jason masks. One thing I didn’t like about the bar is that the seat cushions were a bit worn; I felt like I was sinking into the chair. I would love to stop in again!

Loved the vibe here. Feels just like a cabin in the woods and is a great escape from the hustle and bustle. Good selection of draft beers and split the smores. So unique! It was a little pricey but worth it for the fun!

Taxidermy! I have what one may call an obsession with these dead little critters. So much so that I have taken the liberty to create a «NY– Taxidermy» Unilocal list. If you too are on this taxidermy bandwagon feel free to check our my other fave places or let me know about yours. I am also from the NW so I get weak at the knees when I see a bar with that outdoorsy camping look to it. There are so many in Seattle that seeing one makes me feel instantly at home. When I walked into CAMP I couldn’t have been happier. It had AC to start. Then the tunes… yes…the tunes were spot on from Dead Moon to Arctic Flowers to 13th Floor Elevators. And when I looked up the perfect summer beer is on tap Schöfferhofer Grapefruit beer from the people who know beer, Germans. And since, I was here on a Friday at like 5:00 it was still pretty empty. And the happy hour was a $ 1 off drafts so my tasty beverage was only $ 5. I loved the birch wood ceiling, the log cabin style walls, the deer taxidermy and the large mountain photos behind the bar. And let me not forget the little patio in the back. Watch your step though it’s a big one down.

Stumbled upon Camp, was new to the area and we wanted a drink in a non pretentious but fun bar. Camp fit the bill. Crowd is mixed and actually at times this place can seem quiet. Which we kinda liked. We brought Our friend visiting from overseas. We easily got to sit, actually heard each other talk, the drinks were strong, nice bar staff and reasonably priced.

This place was a lot of fun but the drinks sucked. My bf and I came here on a Friday evening and ordered the s’mores– making and roasting them over the flame was a lot of fun but the really bad drinks left an unappetizing taste in our mouths. We had the camp themed spiked hot chocolate and the other camp themed concoction and both were vile. Service was great though and they were playing Dirty Dancing on the big screen. Review would’ve been better if the drinks weren’t so disgusting.

Camp is a cute themed bar with a solid beer selection. But it’s one of those bars I have to be in the mood for. The ambiance is very dark and slightly sports bar-esque, which isn’t generally my thing. If that’s YOUR thing though, you’ll love this place! I have yet to try the s’mores but the fact they serve them is pretty sweet, and of course in keeping with the camp vibe. Overall a good place — just depends what you’re looking for.

Pros and cons to Camp. First of all, staff was unfriendly and seemed to not care at all. They could have such great camp-themed drinks here but we were told there was no cocktail list. Atmosphere is fun and kitschy, with a wall of autumnal trees, a kayak, etc. Most of the music playing when we were there was rap music, which wasn’t really fitting. Best part of the night was snagging a table and playing some games(hidden behind the bar so you’ll need to ask for them). Otherwise, no reason to come to Camp.

I really tried to enjoy Camp. After all, any place that serves my favorite snack ever already has a leg up on the competition. I came here for a friend’s 30th birthday, and long story short, I basically sweated my way out of the place. The concept is great, with a fun«camp» atmosphere, complete with fire place, cozy décor, and of course, the s’mores. But the place just isn’t big enough to manage the crowd that shows up, so with the roaring fireplace and packed confines, it gets pretty uncomfortable pretty fast. The bartenders seemed friendly and attentive enough for me, but I heard later in the evening(after I began the trek back to Queens) the service went downhill. The s’mores were fantastic though. You’re served a platter of graham crackers, Hershey’s chocolate, and GIANT marshmallows. Some strange blue flammable goo cooks everything for ya.

Fun theme bar, would probably prefer to go in the winter to cozy up or on a date(saw many cute looking young couples nuzzling). Also seemed geared towards a younger 20 something crowd as they were playing newer hip hop and rap music I didn’t recognize. Cute campy décor including an ambiguous deer? head mounted on the wall and marshmallow smore roasting amid wooden furniture. I was satisfied with my usual dark n stormy and moscow mule so props to the bartender there. Probably not a spot I’d go to on the regular, but fun nonetheless for a more unique feel. I mean who doesn’t want to relive camp… but with alcohol!
