This place by far has the best prices I have found anywhere in NYC. I agree with other reviewer that going by you are not even sure if it is open to the public, but it definitely is. Sixpoint can prices are the cheapest I have seen anywhere at $ 54 a case(which is $ 8.60 a 4 pack vs $ 12.99 at other stores like Bierkraft). They also have Victory, Pork Slap, and several other really good brands at a fraction of other stores. Biggest downside is the hours. Oh yeh, very friendly staff who will always offer to help carry to your car.

Too bad about the guy with the keg, but I love this place. It’s the only place I’ve found in the city with reasonable, if not super cheap, beer prices. Big J’s a few blocks away for cheap booze, and Carousel for cheap beer. Also, it’s a great selection for a place that specializes in cases. Lots of Brooklyn labels. And don’t be intimidated by the appearance. Yes, it’s a big garage, but they do sell retail.

These guys convinced me to buy a full keg for the superbowl even though I told them there were 100f us and we would not possibly finish it that night. They got me because I told them I had a kegerator and it made sense to just buy more and have the rest to drink when ever we wanted… Then they told me I had 14 days to return it before I would lose my deposit. After I got home It became clear that the beer had been sitting around for a long time in warm temperatures because every single pour out of the keg was foamy. I tried everything I could to fix the problem by adjusting the CO2, etc but to no avail. As I was buying it, they tried to tell me that the coupler I had was meant for an imported keg(I was buying Brooklyn Lager) so that They could get me to rent one of their domestic ones. I was certain they were wrong and argued with them on this point until they finally backed off. Their selection is poor and the service is worse. I feel like I got taken by a bunch of idiots who know less then their customers about beer. If you’re buying a keg, then it’s likely you’ve got a car which means you’ve got plenty of options in the area. Stay away from this one.
