Good price! Saw an eyelash hair underneath one of my sushi. Saw something floating in my water glass. Staff is nice. But Great Price. You make the choice. I probably won’t return.

Pros: Great remodel Great rolls. They even have a vegetable special sushi roll! Great prices Quick delivery Cons: Waitress service was almost nonexistent, it bothered me that there were many waiters walking around yet my water wasn’t refilled once. Bathroom was dirty for a Sunday afternoon I love ordering from this place but I doubt that I will go there to enjoy a meal.

Love their sushi and service! Best part is their fast with getting the order ready, even during busy hours, I’m able to pick up my order in 15– 20mins!

I have been to this establishment more times than I can count, so I will write a general review. This location is my go-to spot for Japanese food. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced, and most items I have ordered had ‘hit the spot’. My personal favorites are the baby clam soup($ 5.50), Lobster salad($ 7.95), and black widow roll($ 10.95). They have a great team of staff and a relaxed casual environment. I usually walk out with a small bill of ~ $ 25 – 40 per person. I would recommend.

Looks so so when you see the restaurant from outside, but don’t let that mislead you, the place is beautiful and they have one the best sushi(and not just sushi). Fresh hand made rolls are the best, but I always order some of their main dishes which are always a success. Friendly staff and good food. This is all I am asking when coming to a restaurant. I will return run again, because they worth it.

Their sushi is hands down the best! The new renovations look awesome! The sushi is always fresh and delicious. Minus one star is because of the wait for the food

The service is always pretty good(setting aside the language barrier) i usually go for the teriyaki dishes, and tankatsu. The prices are extremely affordable and not to mention the ambiance since they have renovated within the past year.

The food was impressive. Quick delivery, delivery guy was ehhhhhhhhh. Green tea ice cream was dope, however, the pineapple was fresh real pineapple. I was totally shocked.

Great sushi restaurant. The interior is much better now that they renovated. Great for lazy days when you don’t want to cook dinner but still keep it easy on the wallet.

I’m a regular at this place and i love the warm and friendly service as well as food. They always go the extra mile, they’re very friendly and accommodating. The waiter saw us arriving with a child, and gave her an ice cream for free! My favorites are the special rolls, the green tea and the cocktails!

My husband loves this place and this is the household’s sushi spot. I love their creative rolls and we ALL love the salmon teriyaki. The price is definitely the best part of this place. If you’re looking for a cheap delicious meal, then Chikirin is definitely your spot.

I purchased California rolls to go for a quick snack. It’s fresh and really tasty. Prices are cheap and service is quick. I’ll be back to sit in and eat. They’ve renovated inside which they desperately needed and it looks amazing. Nice ambiance, club/lounge vibe going on.

I love chikurin. I’ve been it transform from the old japanese screen doors to the new more modern booths that they have today. I really miss the way it use to be but the food is still great. The waiters and waitresses are awesome and provide great service. It seems a little sketchy from the outside but go a head and give this place a try. The food is pretty awesome for the price.

I’ve gotten food poisoning from this Chikurin as well as their other location on Quentin Road. Stay Far Away!

This place is not what it used to be. Prior to There renovation they were good. I went there today the service is good but we asked for noodles something that we can feed our baby and the waitress recommended something and we told her its for the baby and what it ended up being is a large soup with chicken, noodles and fake seafood yuk!!! The sushi rolls; They have a lot of special rolls on there menu when you actually try them they are not special at all. I would recommend sushi spots on Emmons avenue instead. Also They brought everything out at once the appetizers and hot entrees and sushi. The food is not fresh as well!!!

I discovered Chikurin on Grubhub. Used to order from another Chikurin location on Quentin road until I discovered this second location. They deliver on time if not before the estimated delivery time. The food is always fresh. Have visited the restaurant twice within the last month and planning on making it a regular visit. The dragon roll is my favorite so it’s a must. The ingredients used are always fresh. I tried the ocean roll for the first time which came as a suggestion from our waitress as my mom is allergic to seafood(shellfish more specifically) and it was delicious.

Always go by this place, and from the outside it looks sketchy and who knows. There are no windows and the building is mostly baby blue painted brick and a display case outside with a few pictures. We decided to come here and give it a try since it’s in the neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised by the décor and the size of the place. It was very nice and had some cute booths for couples. The menu is enormous. It took us awhile to go through the whole thing . The sushi was good, and some are pretty creative. Some are the norm u would find at other Japanese restaurants. I wasn’t in the mood for sushi much, so I ordered the tempura udon. It was so delicious and very mushroomy! Service was not bad for an Asian restaurant. They gave me an obviously dirty cup — minus a star for that. They gave us 3 scoops for complimentary ice cream which was nice. It was pretty creamy green tea, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream. Guess appearances are deceiving. Give it a try!

What I liked: Great value for price in terms of food portion; Food was delivered quickly What I did not like: The entrée was way too salty… I ordered the Salmon; and the Edamame didn’t taste fresh Conclusion: If the food was not salty, I would have given them 4 stars. I will try them again to see if maybe the cook was just having a bad day. Stay tuned!
